I have the same situation with my platinum and want to do what you did. Which three bolts are you referring to?
I put blue painters tape near the bolts I loosened. On the last pic, you can see the bolt closest to the front, how much it was out of alignment. Once I loosened these three bolts, I literally didn't do a thing. Once I loosened these bolts, the fender made a "pop" and put itself back into perfect position. As soon as it "popped", I retightened the bolts and it's been perfect.

@fatBatman - if you don’t mind sharing, where in DFW did you get your windows tinted? I’ll be doing the same after I drive my KR back from Granger but don’t have any references for local tinting shops

I did it yesterday, it went as you described. Once I loosened the third bolt, there was a pop/tick sound and went perfectly into position. Totally parallel now!

I went to:

Tint King
6201 Technology Drive
Frisco, TX 75035

They sell mainly XPEL and this time of year, he only does window tint and not PPF since he stays pretty booked. He also has a solid 5-stars on Yelp and his prices won't tear your head off.

I'm glad that worked for you and it looks great. I don't know how that happens on the factory floor. It's almost like someone is leaning on the fender while tightening down the bolts. At first I also thought that it was related to the two tone paint on the King Ranch and needed to realign after spraying the two tone but since it happened on your Platinum too, that theory is dismissed. At any rate, I'm glad it worked for you.

I tossed my foam "beauty cover". Dynamat makes an adhesive reflective foam which you can apply to the underside of your hood which allows airflow over the engine, doesn't impair inspection when you pop the hood AND does a better job of keeping heat off of your hood.

I know there is a factory “mat” on the inside of the hood, do you remove it to place the dynamat, and also, which Dynamat thickness do you use?

It's not regular dynamat, but a specific under hood product they make. It's mostly regular foam with an aluminized mylar surface.

Does your truck have the gray two-tone bottom? Can't tell from the photos for some reason if it is gray along the bottom or if it's just the reflection of the pavement. Not sure if all king ranches have the two tone or if that's optional

Any additional exterior photos either way would be appreciated.

To answer at least some of your questions. 2025 KR will have the “marsh grey” as the two tone color on the lower body panels for King Ranch(2024 had bronze). Won’t see an actual picture for a while based upon production and delivery schedules. Also the two tone is NOT optional on the KR. Here is a picture on my antimatter blue/bronze two-tone:
