Why is this not an issue for a Platinum/King Ranch PB?

I did it yesterday, it went as you described. Once I loosened the third bolt, there was a pop/tick sound and went perfectly into position. Totally parallel now!

I have the same situation with my platinum and want to do what you did. Which three bolts are you referring to?
