Just curious. I haven't even seen any on dealer lots yet.

I placed my 24 order 4 days after the order banks opened. So I sure hope mine starts the process with that mid December lot. My last truck was a 16 MY, so I’m Very excited. Fingers crossed….

Whether I liked the 2024 or not, I wouldn't want any 2024 model that comes off the line earlier than 3 months after the strike ends!

I don't think it's that simple.
I personally wouldn't mind getting the very FIRST truck off the new model year assembly line. More so than the 100th or 1000th.

Something tells me that the first one is going to get a LOT of human attention, if you know what I mean. :)

Besides, I don't think the 2024 truck, in reference to the 2023, is the same thing as the 2021 was to the 2020. There's some changes on the assembly line of course, but it's 9X% the same trucks.

Have you been scheduled yet? According to the scheduling notes this week they were scheduling for week of Jan 22.

Placed my order 10/6. Priority code 19.

I admit I do want to see them on lots too just because I want to look at the new emblem design in person. 90% sure they will be direct swap for what we have now at least on tailgate. Front can't tell if it is same size.

Lucky dealers will have some 2024 by February or March but I expect April before there is decent inventory on lots.

No, not that I know of yet. My dealer doesn’t have any updates. I did the online Ford chat a week ago. They say they see the order has been received and confirmed, but can’t provide any other info. Not sure where else to check.

You get an email from Ford when they receive your order. You'll get another when your scheduled for a build date with a VIN.

I'm still waiting for that 2nd email. There are over 4K retail orders that haven't been scheduled yet but I ordered a platinum plus so who knows when that will be scheduled.

I got my first confirmation email from Ford on 9/22. That email stated I’d have another email communication within 45 days. That 45 days will be up quick and I’m hoping it will have the scheduled build date and VIN.

I've seen them. But then again I live where they test them. Literally the same place that tfl truck does their schtick.

I see all the "next years" vehicles being tested up here.

I don't care for the new front end. Happy with my '23 so far.
I thought you were in Michigan until you referenced TFL. ? I live in Michigan and it’s the same here. We see all the new models and mules as they do their testing. So technically yeah I’ve see. The 24 f150 on the road for awhile now. ??

Related question.

If someone has time or interest in educating, can someone explain to me (or point me to a thread by actual people, not a mag article) the upside to ordering a vehicle that you haven't seen except for in pix?

I find that approach...what's the word I'm looking for?

Well if it was a completely new design like from the ground up I’d feel different. But this is only a mid cycle refresh so the “bones” are all the same. In this case if I was in the market for a new truck I would not have any issue ordering one.
