I ordered a 24 F150 Lariat in Dec. it arrived in Omaha in Jun and has been sitting at Manheim Auto Auctions for the last 2 months along with 800+ new fords. Now i get a call from my dealership saying the truck was totaled during shipment.
Ford Chat has not been helpful nor the inconsistent answers i am getting from the Dealership.
Does anyone on this site have a way to validate some info.
EDIT UPDATE: 29 AUG
So i was able to receive video and photos of the truck. The interior still looks perfect no evidence of damage what so ever. These photos have been sent to my dealership whom is inquiring with the Ford rep as to why it is “Totaled”.

The ford rep has escalated this to the Vehicle Order Escalation team. This was confirmed ia the Ford Chat. Unfortunately they have to many requests at this time and will just have to continue to wait.
at this point i am looking into another vehicle, as much as i wanted this truck it may never arrive.

Ford Damage Assessment team once again has said the truck is a total loss at 11K in damage. Ford offered me 2K toward a MY25 order. A friend of ours is a dealer and was able to go look at the truck. He sent me a message saying there is a small ping in the hood and thats it. No cracked glass, no water intrusion, literally no damage. Someone is scamming Ford or Ford is scamming its insurance company. We have notified all the local news groups, and filled a claim with the BBB against ford.
I was fortunate enough to have a second truck on order back in April. That truck is being built this week and should arrive in Omaha in October. At this point i dont think i will buy that one either. Im pretty upset with the customer service from Ford not my Dealership!
