For shits and giggles, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and let the truck reboot. Also place it on the battery charger overnight making sure the - terminal is on the truck side of the battery shunt and not connected directly to the battery -.

You should get a flash and mirror fold when you lock it, no chirp. My mirrors were acting weird after an update 2 weeks ago but after a few lock/unlock episodes it returned to normal.

My tailgate doean't drop on it's own with the soft cover im place, almost sounds like a vacuum when I open it. If it seals that good, I'm fine with having to give it a tug.

I agree with Hammaman on disconnecting the battery for a bit and seeing if that helps the gremlins.

Well you obviously have a few options…

1. Take it to the dealer. (If you do this I would at least record videos of what you’re experiencing so they can also see it and they won’t just send you home with a “customer states … could not replicate issue”

2. Crawl under it, there are a few different plugs under the rear of the truck.. you could check those and make sure they’re all seated entirely.

3. Unplug battery for a bit and see if that fixes it, if it were me I’d unplug it over night and also put the battery on a charger.

Yes I know you shouldn’t have to do #2 or #3 being it’s a new truck, but here we are. Thousands of vehicles are built everyday, sometimes some sneak out of assembly with an issue (some bigger than others).

Just wondering, when you went to the dealer and everything was working, was the pre detail or post detail, and do you happen to have freezing weather near you?!

So I had them take out that horrible plastic liner and put in a spray liner

yes. This is Canada so the weather has been cold. Snowy. Wet. And of course salt.
Truck was washed. Other than that nothing. The tail gate thing seems to be the culprit
