Hi all - I have on order a 24 Platinum with a 701a package (no FX4) and was wondering if it comes with the CCD suspension? I thought I read it only comes with the higher packages, but not 100%. Want to do a coil-over one day and don't want to run into issues.

Thanks again !!

It’s an option but included with the onboard scales if you got that from what I can see. Interesting you have a 23 on order this late in the game

All levels of the Platinum trim a King Ranch come with the CCD. The only way you can have it removed is to order the FX4 package.
It’s one or the other.

Thanks - It's actually a 24, (typo). So, no way of adding an after-market leveling kit Coil-overs?
If I changed it to an FX4 package - what do I lose on options? Is it worth it w/o CCD?

You can puck the CCD but I think the CCD is better than aftermarket suspension for most use cases. CCD is tuneable.

CCD is not included on a 701A Platinum according to the order guide (I also have one on order).

Weird. CCD is standard on the King Ranch. I optioned for FX4 just to not get CCD. I understand that a lot of ppl like CCD, but I want the ability to make suspension alterations and I feel like you need a computer science degree to do it if have CCD. The only easy thing you can do to raise your truck with CCD is a leveling puck, which still screws up the onboard scales.

Just further highlights the value component of the KR. I think basically everything on a 702A Platinum is standard on the KR.

I opted for FX4 regardless, but didn’t want OP to be surprised when it showed up without CCD.

I didn’t look at the order guide before I made my comment. I did however, look at the configurator and built a new Platinum. CCD shows as standard even for the 701 when you build it. I’m certainly not disputing the order guide either but there certainly seems to be a glitch in the matrix again.

Interesting, I hadn’t notice that before. It’s automatically selected when you build a platinum, but when you open the detail page, it says 702A/703A only.

To be fair, the King Ranch seats say that it has heated and ventilated rear seats. If that’s true, it is the only trim that has that but I’m betting it is a mistake. The 701 having the CCD could be the same kind of thing.
Either way, as we have all discussed before, the KR is definitely the most value when compared to a Platinum.

Ha, that would be a new feature! Hopefully a KR pops up online somewhere, I think it’s the only one we haven’t seen yet.

So I just got a '24 Platinum 701A. It's not supposed to come with CCD per the order guide, but the shocks certainly look like they've got em. Is there any setting inside the vehicle that would show if I actually have them equipped? Any other '24 701A owners seeing the same thing? I'm supposed to get some Bilstein 5100s installed in a few days so this could present a problem.

Same thing happened to me. Did you ever change out the CCD shocks ? If it is even possible..

No, I kept the CCD shocks. I put a 2" level on the front and made some changes with Forscan to increase the default shock stiffness as I found it initially a little soft.
