Hey everyone, I have my 22 F150 PB with the max tow package 3.73 making a scraping/grinding noise while braking at lower speeds. Took it to the dealer and supposedly they drove it around and inspected all the braking components etc. and found nothing and said that it isn’t making any sounds ??
. That was around 8500 miles and the sound was intermittent at times. Today I’m at around 12500 miles and the sound is getting worse and louder. When I drive at lower speeds in parking lots people look over at me occasionally when it’s making that grinding noise, super embarrassing, makes me rethink spending $80K on a Ford. My last f150 was great and my other 2 vehicles are Fords as well. The noise happens in electric mode and when the engine is on, doesn’t matter. I’m not not sure if this has to do with the regenerative braking who knows. I’ve also seen the forums recently on the 3.73 max tow package with the axle issues and has me thinking it might have something to do with that now. Anyways have been contacting the dealer I purchased the vehicle from as well as another local dealer and no calls back for appointments like usual. Any one else experiencing this issue? Seems like I’ve only found 1 or 2 other posts about it and mine seems a lot worse/louder. I attached a video driving around in a parking lot for you guys to watch and listen. Any help is much appreciated!
