2022 F150 Orders placed in January 2022

After calling Ford customer service to see what is holding up the build and talking to the inventory manager at the dealership we were finally able to get it scheduled but only after removing some of the options like spray-in bed liner, rear wheel liner, park assist and tow mirrors. I hope this helps others expedite their truck build process.

I went ahead and removed Wheel Well Liners based on what I’ve been reading across a few forums. An option that I can obviously easily install myself on receiptof the truck. Hoping to hear something next Thursday. ??

UPDATE Sent to plant-In production 4/28. Looks like it may actually happen. (Fingers crossed)

UPDATE Blended today 5/7. I should see a truck sometime soon.

Final update. Released to the shipper on 5/11. Its been frustrating, but it was nice to know I was not alone. Now it is out of Fords hands and I just need to wait till it hits the lot. Best of luck everyone!

Another update... 17 days and it hasn't left Kansas City...

Delivered 6/24 Over 5 months. Never again...

At least you have a VIN and tentative build date! Ordered 1/21 and have nothing other than the original confirmation email. Hopefully this upcoming week I'll hear something. Apparently it's unscheduled clean tho

If it's scheduled clean it probably has a VIN. Did you ask the dealer? I think the build date is Ford tossing a napkin in the wind and seeing where it lands...

No, it's unscheduled-clean. Checked with my dealer and on the chat feature yesterday. Chat person said nothing is holding it up so we'll see what next week brings. I keep telling myself that I'm in no rush for the truck but the wait is getting worse each week! I really need to stay off these forums and just look out the window like every other amazon order

At least with Amazon they communicate with what is going on with your order. If it wasnt for reading these forums that I found my dealer had made a post saying what was needed to get my order scheduled I would have never contacted them to get those items removed. Lack of communications on all ends here from Ford to the Dealers.

Received a shipping notice just yesterday. First 2022 F-150 Platinum ordered on 01/24 will be delivered between May 8-14.

Waiting on my second Platinum ordered on 2/14 for scheduling. By the end of next week, the truck ordered on 2/14 would have had the same timeframe before being scheduled for production as the first. My first order went in as a Priority 19 while my second one a Priority 10. Both have the exact same configurations for the exception of exterior color and adaptive steering added to the 2/14 order. Both different dealerships.

The day I finally received my VIN (4/14) I was actually traveling and didn't see it until a few hours after I got it.

I'm not sure a VIN means diddly. My first "Sheduled to day" was March 17. It's been bumped 7 times or so. The latest is May 7 and I'm not holding my breath for that one either. I give up.
