2022 F150 Orders placed in January 2022

All depends on the wheel base and certain paint colors as to where it's manufactured from what I'm being told. 157" will be manufactured in MI.

I have Lariat BAP, if I recall correctly, someone on another thread said they are built in MI

We’re in the same boat lol. Only options I didn’t mention was b&o audio, 331 locked, and auto stop start removal. I was hoping a very low optioned 302a would be built a bit faster…but here we both are lol

Ordered Atlas Blue lariat high package with BAP on 1/31/22. Got an email on 4/1 saying has been built and also VIN was provided on the same email. Picked it up 4/7 and I couldn't be happier!!

The truck looks great in Atlas Blue with BAP. Congrats!!! I can’t wait to get mine delivered. Just got my VIN and the scheduled build date this last Thursday from my Ford dealer in Sarasota, FL (scheduled for week of 5/9). Ordered pretty much the same truck but with a few more options on 10/6/21. After calling Ford customer service to see what is holding up the build and talking to the inventory manager at the dealership we were finally able to get it scheduled but only after removing some of the options like spray-in bed liner, rear wheel liner, park assist and tow mirrors. I hope this helps others expedite their truck build process.

I have the plow prep, 3.31 regular, 36 gal tank, the 20" wheels and auto SS delete for add ons. Was also leaning towards a modest 302a build. I'm hearing plow prep could be holding mine up. No word from my dealer yet

I was worried about the spray in bed-liner on mine as well. I ended up keeping it on the order and got scheduled, although I do wonder if I didn't have it if I would have got a quicker build date.

On the vehicle order tracking site I don't see the interior work surface option I had asked to be added on a few weeks after my initial order was submitted. Is this normal or something I need to address with dealership? I really don't want to mess up my order now that I have a build date.

I suggest you contact the dealership and check with them. They really should have provided you an updated build sheet with the added interior work surface option to sign on before resubmitting it to Ford.

Ordered 1/22/22 and still unscheduled.

Lariat SuperCrew PowerBoost, 501a with 7.2kW, Co-Pilot Assist, Wireless Charging, Lockable Storage, Tow Technology Package, Interior Workspace, and just added Sports Appearance Package to it today.

I really was NOT a fan of the SAP because of the brown interior accents but went and looked at one in person and it is much more toned down than the online pictures make it seem. Couldn't justify the $3k extra it would take to get BAP (and likely would have been $5k because if I went to 502a I probably would have added CoPilot Active).

Paint:
Smoked Quartz is Dearborn MI. I think Star White is KC.

I have a 157" Smoked Quartz Powerboost order, so very solidly set to be built in Dearborn (one day).

I know this is a hard question to answer, but how many allocations does the average dealer get a week / month???

I finally got some real information out of my dealer regarding their backlog of orders. I ordered mid January. Looks like they have 25-30 F150s older than mine on the unscheduled list + a fleet order of about 30 trucks. I don't know if my dealer is "high volume" or not. They probably sold a crap ton of trucks when they were offing $4K off MSRP while no one else in Denver would come down at all.

What they still haven't answered is how many allotments they typically get a month. 5? 10? 50? what is typical? Dealership is O'Meara Ford in Denver if anyone knows.

I know age alone doesn't mean everything in the scheduling process. Much more voodoo involved than that. But at least it gives me some idea of where my order is in process.

I ordered a 2022 F-150 Platinum (fully loaded) with On-board Scales and CCD, 701A on January 24, 2022. Received VIN on March 9, and scheduled for Production on April 4. Pushed a week out, and started Production on April 11 with a blend date of April 14. Currently still “in production.” Window Sticker reflects credit for APA 2.0 Removal automatically done by Ford.

Have a second Platinum ordered on February 14, 2022. Still no VIN or information. Removed Park Assist 2.0 as dealership stated it would be scheduled sooner by doing so. May have shot myself in the foot since Ford has been automatically removing this feature to get vehicles in production without manually doing so. Hoping to add it back if truck does not get scheduled next week.
