1/17. Finally got it 6/19. In my experience the dates ford gives you mean absolutely nothing. I don't blame the salesman or the dealership, but c'mon 6 weeks to get from KC MO to northern VA?? (From time to completion to at the dealers door)I could have walked that and back in that time...

I have found the same. And I believe that they (Ford chat, dial in, etc) are looking at the same vehicle visibility screen that your dealer has access to. I don't feel so bad now. Mine was built on 5/11 sat at the yard in KC for 2 weeks, train for another 2 weeks, now its in a yard 2 hours...

Question as I am not trusting my own eyes. On the order tracking site, does the status ever change from in-transit to shipped? If so, what is the difference?

Its absolute insanity. Ordered 1/17/22, built 5/10/22, released and shipped 5/11/22. Still sitting on a ramp in Kansas City since 5/11. Just when you think the light is at the end of the tunnel it is an oncoming train. And your truck is not on it... XLT super cab, 302a package.

Ordered 1/17. Its on a ramp in KC waiting to be loaded onto a train. Talked to ford today and the date (6/11-6/17) is static. It was built on 5/10 and shipped by Jack Cooper Transit to the train loading yard and received 5/11. Its still a 4-6 week process once you get the good news.

I'm not sure a VIN means diddly. My first "Sheduled to day" was March 17. It's been bumped 7 times or so. The latest is May 7 and I'm not holding my breath for that one either. I give up.

If it's scheduled clean it probably has a VIN. Did you ask the dealer? I think the build date is Ford tossing a napkin in the wind and seeing where it lands... :)

F150 XLT Super Cab Stone Grey, 302 A package, center console, sliding rear window. Ordered 1/12. Order confirmed with VIN on 1/17. Build date 3/27, 4/7, 4/11, 4/26, 5/1 , 5/2 Frustrated to say the least... UPDATE Sent to plant-In production 4/28. Looks like it may actually happen...
