I was hoping to order the exact same color combination as you (antimatter blue, two-tone paint) and was trying to see if you had any photos....but it looks like you still don't have the truck? When did you order? I won't lie, it makes me nervous about ordering this week.

No, I don't have it yet. I ordered on 4/2. The worst thing is that Antimatter Blue is built in KC. Which is a huge cluster.

Do you mean I might actually have a quicker build if I choose another color? Man I'd hate to pass up Antimatter though.

Picking a color they spray in Dearborn might net a better result. KC has been consistently inconsistent.

Out of interest does your vehicle include wheel liners, bed liner, etc.? I heard they have to send the truck out for some add-on items.

I’m new here. I recently (7/5/21) ordered a new F 150, my dream truck! (At least for my price range lol). As evidence of this thread, we’re here to know how production is going.

My dealer told me that I would receive an email when my order is placed, another email when it’s being made, and another when it’s shipped. That’s all fine and good but I haven’t received a single email after submitting my order. And my dealer isn’t very forthcoming with info. It’s been over a week and I just want to know if my order even made it in the system. I understand it’s going to take a while to make (I was told 10-12 weeks) but I want to make sure the wait time is minimized, or at least updated for real production.

Can someone help clarify this for me? Here’s a pic of my order number. I think that’s the main number I need, right?

No wheel liners. It did have the spray in bed liner and the soft folding tonneau cover.

My truck was assembled on the line last Thursday and I was hoping that would allow it to get off site to have those options installed before the plant closed again on Monday.

Based on the change in my ETA, I guess that was too much for them to handle.

Thanks fmozza! Im still waiting on my VIN. I’m not show how long that will take though. That’s what I'm trying to understand.

Also - has anyone had any success with the FordPass app for getting updates. Says you need a VIN so I haven’t been able to try it yet.

That's a personal decision.

I've requested updates from my salesman 2-3 times in 3-1/2 months merely because I get mad when he gives me the impression that he's rolling his eyes on the other end of the phone. I mostly rely on the trackers shared on this site.

I was also planning to email every 2 weeks or so asking if a VIN has been assigned, but I would recommend waiting until mid day Friday or first thing Monday as I had heard that some times updates occur on Thursday in the system. However, once a VIN is assigned, I was going to leave the dealer alone and use the trackers on this site. Currently those trackers are behind as Ford is slamming out trucks like crazy this week to dealers however they haven't updated the trackers. ymmv.

I mean, I know my salesman is super busy and I hate to be that customer who keeps pestering him. I was thinking like you, I’d want to know my vin then kinda lay off for a while and use the resources here.
