I think it will just start working once you are running the latest IPMA software
As an update, I finally figured out how to get AutoHitch working. Another required Forscan change is in the PCM. Mine was set less the trailer hitch guide. When I enabled this and took the truck for a short drive, auto hitch started working after that point. The truck backed up and put the hitch ball exactly where it needed to be to connect the trailer.

This in the APIM:

Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet 1754945867034-l3

And this in the DDM & PDM:

Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet 1754945920407-s8

Not sure if anything else is required, but this looks like a good place to start.

I've been away from Ford stuff for a couple of years so bear with me here. I tossed the tow mirrors from my '22 302a XLT onto my new '25 200A STX. Markers and turn signals work after changes and I wanted to see if I could get the puddle lights working. I have an as-built from my 22 and see changes in the following lines:

740/741-04-01 Fourth digit is a "1" in the '22 as built for spot lights, but I don't have that switch in the new one.

740/741-04-07 Second digit is a "3" in the '22 as built to enable puddle lamps.

Made those changes and no go on the puddle lamps. I'm wondering if I need to change something in the APIM to do with zone lighting. Any ideas?

Is there a way to set the default back up screen from the 3/4 large BU and 1/4 birdseye view to full backup view? which is selection number 1 I believe on the camera selection screen?

My KR with stock normal mirrors actually has 1 for:
740/741-04-06xxxxx*xxxx--
But for a '24-'25 it is 0 for LED. I would try 0.

3 is correct for 740/741-04-07 x*xx xxxx xx--.

Also make sure of:
BCM: 726-48-01 x*xx xxxx xx-- is set to 3 and
BCM: 726-48-02 xxx* xxxx xx-- is set to 0 and
726-71-02x*xxxxxxxx--
Is set to 1 and
726-79-01x*xxxxxxxx--
Is set to 2
and then, if still no go, try:
BCM 726-48-02 xxxx x*xx xx-- set to 5.

Do NOT undo any of these changes if you make them; only do that if you reach the end and nothing has worked. I have used the '24-'25 sheet but cross-referenced with the proper addresses on my '23.

see how you go and report back.

Thanks. I had everything else except the BCM address at 726-48-02. One forgets a lot in two years.

Has anyone figured out a way to make the spot lights on the mirrors to stay on over 5mph with forscan or any other way?

@JIMFOUNTAIN Jim, some trailer features are disbled in your TRM according to your asbuilt. Change this and report back:
791-01-02 xxxx x*-- from 4 to 5 (TBMC present).

There may be another change required afterwards, but not right now. Also, if we get PTBA working again, you have a heap of DTCs not being allowed which we'll allow so that if something goes wrong with the PTBA system, you'll be informed about it when scsanning for DTCs.

There may be changes to other modules and we will leave the above change in place as it is required for PTBA.

Has this been changed a lot for 24-25 models? It seems the camera stay on function was not available other than the 2 views I already have. And the 30 minutes engine idle limiter also didn't work on mine.
In addition, many of the AS-Build function are actually available in the menu option. Such as change from 3 blink to 5 blink turn signal, and Bambi mode.

Do you mean available in FORScan easy mode or in SYNC settings? Number of Blinks has always been in FORScan easy mode 🤷‍♂️. Others may have been as well. Whenever I use easy mode, I make sure it performed the correct asbuilt change before I trust it to do the job in future.

24 already got the rear view and 50/50, also hitch view available at speed. Just not the off-road view or any front view.

2024 APIM:
7D0-01-04xxxxx*xxxx--RCOD View at Speed (RCODVS) • Hitch View at Speed (HVS) • 1 Pedal Drive (PD) • Off road Views at Speed (OVS)
Set to D.
2024 IPMA:
706-02-02xxxxx*xxxx--FeatureCfg_DPAC_OffsetOverlay (FCDPACOO) • FeatureCfg_DPAC_OffRoadOverlay (FCDPACORO) • FeatureCfg_DPAC_ViewCtlAtSpeed (FCDPACVCAS) • FeatureCfg_DPAC_OffRoadCameraMenu (FCDPACORCM)
Set to E
Also 2024 IPMA:
706-02-02xxxxxxx*xx--FeatureCfg_DPAC_OffRoadVersion (FCDPACORV)
Set to 3.
These are all the same as 2023. There were never any other front views at speed apart from off-road view at speed. The capability is there.
