Hi. Is there a way to brighten the digital dash screen and the infotainment screen? At night they’re not bright enough I have difficulty seeing the center screen. Can we make it brighter using the forscan? Thanks
For your help

it's very annoying... when the dash is set to maximum brightness, the Sync screen only goes to 50%. When you dim the dash, you can brighten the Sync screen. No way currently in FORScan to address it that I know of.

Ok here is what I did. Went into Bdycm module, tires. Changed back to original 2547. Cleared code DTC no fault. Then went back in and started going up a little at a time. 2674 is the highest value I can reach and relearn the PCM with no fault on the DTC.?
It’s about 75mm lower then what had me perfect but if I’m only 1-2mph off and no fault I’m good with that.

I’ll test the speed later with GPS and see what it says.
I think I'm missing the pcm relearn part. I updated the circumference from an 18 inch tire to a 20 inch tire and everything worked ok. I then put bigger tires ( 295/6r20 ) on the 20 inch rims and I can't seem to get the number correct to make the Speedo match GPS. If I put the real numbers in for the new tires I get errors. Traction control errors. I increased the mm to 2799 which is the highest I can go with no errors and the speedo is 4 MPH faster that the GPS. This makes no sense. A larger circumference should slow the Speedo down.

Did you make the change in the spreadsheet to remove the black box? If so, recheck that it's correct and reboot the APIM- it might need a kick in the guts.

Your camera button orientation looks good to me ?‍♂?

@SilverPigeon I tried a long while ago and it didn’t work…not sure what I did but I guess I never went back and looked. I’ll have to look back into it bc I hate this box
We all hate it ?. If you find it hasn't been changed, you're not going insane. With FORScan, you're writing configuration that can be reset by OTAs or FDRS updates. If the ford servers have you at a particular configuration, that one will be written into the module during the module configuration stage of an update.

An example: I made the change to enable rock crawl drive mode on my 4x4 (it's not an FX4 which has the mode). During my last FDRS session, I had an ABS module update. The servers said I shouldn't have rock crawl, so it went away ?; I put the change back in of course ?

I think your MM number is way too high. I have 325/60/20 and at 2674 I’m now dead on with GPS.
Drop that member down and always Relearn and clear DTC. If I go past 2674 I can’t clear the faults.

Wiring jumper harness install and correct. I can fokd in and out but can't extend. Have the switch wired corr tly to DDM. Any other programming need to make them telescope?

I switched the bulb outage indicators to enable and the blinker immediately started blinking fast on the dash, but normal outside. I changed them back to disabled but the dash blinker is still fast. I couldn't get the module to reboot. Nothing happens when clicking on "reboot"

You may need to reboot the module a couple times as well as cycle the key/button a couple times for it to reset.

Unplug the batt/s for full reboot. These trucks aren't just 1 computer, there's dozens of modules, most of which are always live.
