Have anyone had the APIM not show up as modules responding? Looks like most other ones with changes are there but APIM did not. Ive tried deleting the profile and rescanning for modules a couple times but not sure what to try after that. FWIW this is on a '22 F250 running sync 4 not an F150.

Cheers @JEB and @superfordman, hopefully one day there is a way to do it.
I ended up buying the device (the name escapes me right now) which allows me to enter data while driving. I removed the trim all around and placed it behind the screen. Plugged it in between the screen and the vehicle. Works beautifully. I have always been able to enter addresses or select music while driving but the F-150 made it impossible. I had to come to a complete stop to change music folders on my USB. That's not gonna happen when I'm driving on the Interstate for a road trip.

Would definitely like to know more about this device if you can share any details. This is the first I’ve heard of it

I searched my emails and found it. "CANopener™ Motion Unlock for SYNC Equipped Vehicles".
https://www.4dtech.com/canopener-motion-unlock-for-sync-equipped-vehicles/

It was pretty straightforward. Bulk of my time was spent learning how to carefully remove the trim, to access what I needed to. Then I slipped it into place under the screen. Connected it and that's it. Works like a charm.

You might be able to just open the dashboard and drop it in but I found it was a pain to get to the connector on the back of the screen. This was was much easier for me.

Thanks for digging up the info. I already have a Naviks in there so I am familiar with the process. I would love to do this but at $200 the cost/benefit equation doesn’t make sense for me

Did you ever get the answer to this? I'm curious also. And so many of the other ones that are disabled. Wish there was something that explained what each one does. Like the Autio Air Fresh and 50/50 view at speed on your pic.

Also, I see you have highlight in the first picture.....Lane Change cancel blink number at 5
I wanted to change mine from 3 to 5 in FORScan. Did you do yours this way and not through the BCM as built way?

never got an answer but i know my lights turn when i do and i have glare free sooo...

also, i think changed 3 to 5 through this method. its been so long ago but i'm pretty sure thats why i found the headlights like this while changing my turns.

though looking at these shots again, makes me see a bunch of stuff that says disabled but i swear works...anyone wanna chime in?

James, Wayne, some things in "easy" mode show as disabled when actually they are enabled in the asbuilt for our trucks. It comes down to did the FORScan designers intend that easy mode setting for our trucks, or for other ford vehicles, which is often the case. The asbuilt method allows us to make changes to settings that don't seem to "work" in easy mode, or for occasions where there is no option in easy mode for us.

Even then, there are asbuilt settings that are not intended for our trucks, (e.g. Transit van settings in the BCM) due to modules shared by Ford platforms presumably.

When you say "vertical", do you mean looking down from the top? That's called the 360 view. Search the APIM and IPMA tabs of the spreadsheet for "360" and you should get them all; your lariat has the mirror cameras I think?

If that's all configured, the 360 view software button when you press the camera menu (3 dashes) is the one with the circle segmented into four.

What adapter were you using for this scan? I don’t see the CAN FD bus on here at all.

Your obd connection is not fully seated
Disconnect
Then plug it back in and reload
On my 24 f250 the obd port is very close quarters on the lower dashpanel., vice roomy on the f150 I had. Itshappenrdto me several times already..

I’m using the obdlink ex. I’ll try again here today and make sure it’s fully seated. I did verify it saw the apim on my 150 and everything was updated. Hopefully it is just user error here.

Plugged into the truck again and made sure it was fully seated with the same results as before.
