I had to get a new key a few days ago to re-activate Forscan. FYI, they didn't sent me anything via email; it just appears on their webpage after you hit submit (the one that says it may take 30 mins or so). Had to hit refresh a few times, but within 30 mins, that page updated with the new info.
Gotcha, thanks!

New to this site and this question is a bit off-topic!

How do I search a Forum or Thread for specific words?

For instance, I was looking for FORScan info on "auto start/stop". No matter the what search terms I use or where to search (Forum, Thread, Everywhere) I don't get any results.

I know there's plenty of input within the 230 pages of info on this Forum/Thread or whatever it's called, but cannot locate without going through each page! :-(

I looked for a Newbie or Help page, but haven't located.

Thanks for any help and sorry to ask this "off-topic" question!

...Is this the correct FORScan link to download and is Win 11 ok?...
Yes, 2.3.63. I'm running Win 11 no problem, but I'm on 2.3.62, I don't forsee any issue there.

You're mongoose cable will work fine with Forscan, you don't need another cable for this.

Perfect. Do I need the battery tender on again just to do the Forscan backups?
If it's a short Forscan session, you won't need a battery tender, up to ten 20 minutes maybe., longer than that, yes maybe a tender would be advisable.
If you're editing directly in as built. Take pictures of each screen before and after charges. You can then see what you did if something goes wrong. Before doing any changes download you as built file from. https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt. and store it in a safe place for comparison if you encounter a problem. The people here will know what to look at for you with this. Make notes of any changes in a spreadsheet or handwritten. You can always look back. Have fun!

Tonight I was just going to download the as built files from the truck as shown on the tutorial on page 1. And then save them on a usb drive.

I wasn’t planning on downloading files from the website. Should I download form both locations?

confused.

Do both, put them in separate folders, it never hurts to have to much information. ;)

Halogen the brake and turn are parking lamps. I do see looking at spreadsheet there is nothing that calls out parking/running lights specifically. It could be rolled into the brake and turn signal outage.
