I wanted to thank you for this thread (mostly the original post), I connected for the first time and backed up my original config and made the change to disable the "full view not available" annoying message in the rear camera.
My laptop is a linux laptop and the hard drive is too small to dual boot, so I ran FORscan in linux under Wine and it worked fine (you need to add the user to the dialout group to access USB unless you want to run Wine as root, which is never recommended)

I know you can download the trial license over and over but it seems a cheap price to pay for a license to support such a useful tool.

I bought a lifetime license about 8 years ago, when they still sold them. Fingers crossed ? to this day it still works. Although I'm afraid to try and transfer it to my new laptop. Now the old win 10 laptop is a fdrs forscan unit only. A garage computer. ?

The license? Right on the website; same place where you get the free license, but you choose the paid one, instead.

I got it. It looked different a few months ago, maybe maintenance maybe me, but I remember wondering if that Iob site it redirects to was legit or not at the time. At any rate, done deal. Thanks

Well I was originally able to turn off auto lock of doors when I drive away, but now I can't seem to get a few other options to work. 2024 F150 SC 3.5 4x4 Lariat.

I wanted to turn off black box on rear camera, Seat belt reminder and disable 30 min idle time, but none seem to be working. I check Forscan and changes reflect in as built manual programming method. Initial values reflect same as spreadsheets 1st option. Something else I need to do? I stopped them and reran them. Shut off key then turn on not running, but no updates

Howdy everyone! Just got a 2023 Ford F150 Powerboost Lariat. Loving the truck and already doing some Forscan mods.

Question, I've been searching everywhere on this forum including Livnitup's spreadsheets, posts, this forum, etc. I've tried to get rid of the annoying chimes when starting the truck and opening the doors but to no success. Does anyone have any other input of suggestions?

None of these worked.

Disables door ajar chime	IPC	720-01-02	xx*x	xx--		see IPC spreadsheet to disable EIOCM
Disable key-in ignition chime	IPC	720-02-01	xx*x	xxxx	xx--	subtract 8 from current value (if E change to 6)

Anyone else have any success with this?

Seatbelt warning market change which disables the chime of seatbelt not latched at ignition on time here:

Disable Ignition / Start Engine Chime Seatbelt Not Latched using SWM = ECE

i.e. If your initial value was 0, make it 2.

Trying to figure out if I can kill the annoying in the cab do dah noise if I get out of the truck with the engine running. I got rid of the one that occurs when the door is opened, this one goes off when I close the door and walk away. Doesn’t bother me because I’m not in the truck but scares/annoys my wife when I get out to open the gate. 23 Lariat

You mean double honk ??

No, this is the same doo doo doo noise that you get when the door is opened with the truck running. But this is through the stereo and louder, shriller. It only occurs when I walk away with the fob in my pocket, engine running and I close the door

@ongrade Joe, That's the "No Key Detected" chime. It still happens after disabling double-honk. I'll have a look into it as I haven't bothered with it up to date.

HOWEVER, my KDA is already set to 0 (disabled) and therefore I believe that this function is not being implemented on our APIMs. Happy to be proven wrong though ?
