Is there a way to increase the turbo noise on the 3.5L without intakes or exhausts? I had a 23 STX 2.7L and the turbos were significantly louder than my new 24 XLT 3.5L. Both trucks were completely stock. Is this because of differences in the intakes or possibly more sound deadening in the XLT? On my 2.7 you could hear the turbos spool like they were right next to you. With my 3.5L I don't hear anything unless under heavy load and letting off the gas.

I just got a 2025 PB coming from a 2023 2.7

I installed a CAI on the 2.7 and the turbos were very noticeable under boost. I loved the sound. I just put CAI on the PB today and they still aren't near as loud as the 2.7 was. I know the turbos on the 3.5 are physically larger, perhaps they are also mounted lower in the engine so you can't hear them as much?
I do enjoy the high end power on this engine vs the 2.7 though.

My 2.7 turbos were definitley louder with a CAI but the stock blowoff sound was quieter, i had an open top AEM intake. My Powerboost turbos dont make as much spooling noise with a closed box AFE intake but the stock blowoff valve is way louder than the 2.7. Maybe since the 2.7 spools up faster at lower rpm that turbo sound is instant. U gotta wind up a 3.5 to reach its peak numbers and im assuming peak boost which of course gives u more mid to high end power
