Your truck got the first IPC OTA and not the second one. Good news is the second Update is showing and you need to get that installed soon. That is what is causing your issues. It is exactly what I said earlier. Thre config is based off the IPC. If its not installed the rest of the updates will install with the wrong config
I appreciate your informative work! And I’m pleased I’m getting something finally.

If I understood his reply correctly, you need the IPC update associated with 2.7.4 into your truck quickly before you get more updates and things get configured improperly.

I'm pretty sure I've offered my Mongoose to him before, but as the saying goes: You can only lead a horse to water....... lol.

I feel bad for all these folks stuck on these older updates. I remember the sense of frustration I had with dealers and calling Ford and all the other useless things I did to try to get my truck updated. Spending $600 to get the $71k truck I paid for is a bargain, IMO. It was also very gratifying to tell my service advisor that everyone in the service department there sucks because I was able to do the updates they said they couldn't do myself. The dumb-founded look on his face when I showed him I had BC was worth the $600 alone.
I would have loved to have been there when you told the service advisor that. It would have almost been priceless. I can't stand know it all's, and what you said was a dish well served.

I went from 2.7.3 directly to 3.5.2 today and I can’t really see where anything changed. My Sync software is still at same it was before 22177 rev 473. My truck was going into deep sleep mode every time it’s not in use so I did a BMS reset earlier today and I immediately received the 3.5.2 update. Is it bad that it skipped all the others? Can you check my VIN 1FTFW1E50MFA64125
? Thanks!

I have a 2021 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 with a 5.0L and the 302A and tow technology (includes 360 camera system) packages built in 2/2021 and I too was stuck on 2.7.4 since 2 failed updates in November of 2022. My dealer told me everything was up to date at a few different service visits since last November. All of a sudden, I received 3 updates in the last 3 days. I'd be patient a little longer because there have been a lot of posts here from owners of job 1 trucks getting updated over the last month or so.

Thanks. I’m not going to hold my breath, but it would be fun to get some of the updates!

Ford is definitely pushing updates out for sure right now. My early build 21 suffered from the hangup at 1.7. Took it in last August. and the dealership was able to fix it without replacing anything (did take them several days though). Immediately got a 2.4 update in Sept., then some sort of update that started with a "PU0707"??? in Jan this year. I've never had cameras in motion so not sure what rev the truck has numerically.

I've been riding my motorcycle to work the past couple days so the truck has sat in my driveway. My wifi is turned off (since I bought new) in the settings due to a weak signal from my house. I hopped in it tonight to move it about 20ft forward for my trash cans (trash night) and noticed my screen momentarily was all blue and said "F150 Saved". Looked at my update screen and all it said was everything was up to date. Which is weird because it always showed the last update of "PU707" and Jan 4th date. Shut the truck off, went inside and looked at my Ford App. Sure as shit.... it said 3.52!!!! I went back out to the truck, and it had the update succesful icon and now says 3.5.2!!!

So, if you have Bluecruise, you can’t just use the adaptive cruise control? There’s no way to disable Bluecruise?

Nobody has found a way yet.
Although I suspect Jesse might know a way to gimp the map date or some other self-imposed AsBuilt error to break Bluecruise.

But the complaint isn't with Bluecruise. It's with that infrared iris scanner and Ford enabled it even when Bluecruise isn't engaged.

If I knew how to break the iris scanner and the ONLY baggage was Bluecruise engagement would be nixed, I'd do it. Especially if it were reversible. :)

I was aware of the scanner. I’ve messed with the lane centering a little and didn’t really care for it. I just assumed that you could turn Bluecruise off just like the lane centering feature.
Do you know if, once your subscription expires and you no longer have Bluecruise, does the adaptive cruise work as it did prior to Bluecruise?

Adaptive cruise and Lane Centering are foundational. Or put another way, Bluecruise sits on top of it.

So if Bluecruise never engaged, or wasn't renewed, Adaptive Cruise and Lane Centering would still be functional. They aren't subscription based.

So bluecruise is technically only hands free on certain roads. However once you update to enable it then it will beep at you to keep your eyes on the road even un non bluecruise roads that are just using lane centring in addition to beeping at you to keep your hands on the wheel. You can't turn this off, and you can't turn blue cruise off without turning off lane centring completely. So basically it just introduces one more irritating thing to beep at you while you are driving and so I hate it as I rarely drive on any bluecruise enabled roads
