I originally ordered 10/16 and was changed to MY22 because their 2021 ordering system was "down" at that time. They finally got the order through on 10/22. I was told that because I was switched to MY22 after I placed my MY21 order that they couldn't honor the 0% 72mo because it was only available on a 2021. I was pretty confused. So you're saying it applies to 2022s per your dealer?
So on 10/16, I didn't think you could order a 2021 - I thought the last order date for those was 9/30. Their 2021 system may have been "down", because it was never up 2021's for the past 2 weeks. You may want to research that.

So my dealer has told me that it applies to my truck based on date ordered (10/2). I also understand that my location (zip code) plays into what Ford offers, and when they offer it (time of the order date or pick up date).

Ford's idea of a joke for 3rd party trackers - maybe they will get their tracker and 3rd party ones working again.

Interesting, @TN Rotty when I went to the dealership (and sorry it was 10/14 as seen in the top left of the image and not 10/16) we sat down on their computer and built this truck. It shows as being a 2021. A week later 10/22 I called them to ask for an update and they said that it couldn't go through and I'd have to be changed to a 2022 which they did and then it got confirmed by FMC via email shortly after. I told them I wanted to lock in at the 0% 72 and they said that incentive was only available for the 2021. I was pretty heated. I also wasn't even told about the MY conversion of $3500 nor the other 1k. I'm thinking I need to renegotiate when the truck arrives? Should I inquire about the smart Vincent report? At the time it seemed like some weird bait and switch. I think @Atlee was in a similar position.

Thanks, flying to Kansas City Sunday and attending Steelers/Chiefs, then driving rental to Des Moines. Picking up new truck Monday then driving it back to Arkansas.

I'm definitely in here somewhere. MY21 orders definitely were still being taken. My order was 09/01/21. However mine couldn't be built in the time remaining for MY21. Of course my dealer didn't convert over until Nov 22, and a new order number was used. Early on the dealer said I would het 0%/72 mth no matter what. By late November, he wasn't saying that.

I know the 0% financing was what caused me to order a new truck. If 0% isn't made available to me when my truck comes in, we will have issues. Of course I'm well aware who will win. If I walk, the dealer will have another truck for his depleted inventory and will sell it for an exorbitant amount. MSRP plus a large "market adjustment" to MSRP.

Unfortunately the dealership cannot do anything about the interest rate; Incentives are given to Ford Motor Credit (FMC) from Ford, and they are designed to get vehicles off the lot, not with a new order in mind; Read the fine print on all of Fords incentives and they all say the same thing "Must take delivery from dealer stock by xx/xx/xxxx" now once your vehicle arrives, it is technically in dealer stock, but you must complete your financing and vehicle acceptance prior to the date that is listed in the incentive. Once that incentive date expires, the dealership nor FMC can do anything about that. Rebates have a little more wiggle room, they can usually get away with a 1-2 day grace period on those by backdating the deal (since these are submitted via a batch to Ford, and no real money changes hands), but financing rates are pulled in real time, and even if you did a credit app at the time of ordering, they are only good for so many days, and will require you to reapply...It sucks you are going through this. The real reason Ford offered 0% on the F150 (for the first time ever for 72 months) this fall was because of Dodge, the Ram trucks were catching up to F150 sales, and Ford was incredibly desperate to hit sales figures in 2021...here in 2022, that's not their problem again until next fall if Dodge is close to beating them in truck sales.

Under stand all that. I expect I will lose out. However, I have noted some guys in recent days are getting 0% financing.
