Problem solved, thanks fellas. Clearly I'm a noob. I must've just been standing too close to the tailgate and didn't realize there is a sensor that won't allow it to open in too close proximity of something it could hit upon lowering.

Couple questionsuestion for you guys. 1. Power Tailgate remote down (via fob) doesn't work unless the vehicle is unlocked and I have opened a door first. Then and only then will the fob lower and raise the tailgate. This seems counterintuitive if I'm coming out of Lowe's or whatever and wanting...

Well that's odd. I don't have that sensor. EDIT: I see you have a plat with a 6.5 box and cc'd/scales. I'd imagine one of them is the reason, likely the box length?

Good news boys (and girls if we have any on this thread)! Delivered to dealer this afternoon just after I got an FMC email this morning pushing the ETA out to 2/12. Palsapp never updated at all. Going in the morning to seal the deal. Will report back. This pic is pre-inspection, pre-detail. Cheers!

I think it depends on the dealership. My truck was listed (VIN verified) on my dealer's site as early as when I received the first "order processed" email from Ford, nearly 2 months before it was built. I read of others on the forum that experienced similar.
