Thanks! Congrats on yours as well. What was the pickup process like for you at Granger? Also, were you eligible for any Ford special financing or rebates? I think we ordered about the same time. I’m thinking at a minimum I should have 3.9% for 60 months.

The dealership is out in a rural/suburban area. Their "Ford" building on site is pretty small. Unusual, in fact. But everybody you have been in contact with is right there close together. Everything is in order for you and it goes really fast. I was there a total of 40 mins and half of that was transferring stuff over from my trade.

Catelyn had presented me with Ford Motor Credit options before I went. FMC was/is offering a $1,000 rebate plus 0% for 36 months, 4.9% for 48, 5.9% for 60 and 6.9% for 72 months.

I feel like when we placed our order there was a 3.9% for 60 on special orders. That rate should have been locked and offered at time of purchase. No big deal for me since my credit union has 3.85 for 60.

Current offer. I don't believe what was being offered on Halloween when I placed the order was as good.

I took the interest-free, 36-month option and got the extra $1,000 off.

Congrats! I like seeing that your Platinum avoided or made it out of chip hold land and will soon be in your hands. Hopefully My Platinum, ordered in August and in this same build week will escape chip hold land and make it to me soon too. Order tracking still showing "In Production 1/10/23"

Picked up my KR today. Great experience with my sales person. Terrible with the the finance guy. I felt dirty leaving the finance guy’s office. Finance guy tried to tell me that the warranty I buy on day 2 from granger is not the same as day 1 from the dealer for 1500 more. Then the gap insurance for 1k. (My insurance includes this but he argued it didn’t.) Ceramic for 1500 (not sure I want it but I’m sure I can do better then the dealer) tire protection for 1200 (pretty sure I can buy a set of tires for this), maintenance package - don’t recall the price but he tried to tell me all maintenance will be done whether it needs it or not - Eg new brake pads even if zero miles on the truck) Everything was an argument to decline. Will have to call @Granger Ford for the warranty in the next week or so.

You don't need to go through Granger to get the same deal. You can go straight to FloodFord it is basically the same plan as Granger.

Nothing at all against granger they have been the best to work with. But if you didn't buy through them you might as well go straight to the source.

My Brother bought Flood Ford. When he went in to do an oil change the guy at the dealer tried to tell him that it was not valid and the price was cheaper than he could get as an employee. My brother simply challenged him to look up his truck. The guy was dumbfounded and all was right in the world again.

I haven’t heard anyone else with this type of feedback from finance. Hopefully I hear from them soon to finalize my purchase. My truck arrived Tuesday, so I’ll report back with my experience soon.

They were not so happy with Granger. "Those forum people always tell us about Granger, and I have to warn you its not the same plan on day 2" They could not explain what the difference was. Infuriating.
