My truck is at the dealership. I’m going over tomorrow to test drive and purchase. 501a lariat powerboost with 6.5ft bed.

Called Ford customer service this morning, they said that my trucks "ETA/end date" is August 8. They said that date could change but that is the "estimated arrival." When I asked arrival to where (assuming it meant to the dealership), she could not confirm... Fingers crossed it ships out.

I have been emailing some lady in the executive office she has been of little help too. Just says sorry they keep missing dates I will let you know if anything changes and I have put in a ticket to support…blah blah blah.

I purchased my 501a lariat powerboost today. Below are some initial thoughts.

PROs

• Powerboost- almost zero lag, smooth shifts so far, no jumping while stopped.
• Seats- comfortable, vented and heat are great on level 3.
• 6.5ft bed- had a 5.5ft since 2012 and ready for 6.5.
• Suspension is smooth while driving. I did not notice back end shimmy over bumps on day 1

CONs

• Standard mirror are too small and no blind spot mirror. I’ll be purchasing a small blind spot mirror. I need to see what is involved to add power fold tow mirrors if it is even possible
• 3” of rake with tow technology package
• Bed did not come with plates for the cleats. Only threaded holes are present.
• The truck bounces back and forth when stopping (assume its due to shitty shocks/struts).
• Paint bubbles rear fender well and bed side. Im concerned about the paint eventually peeling. I was going to install Mud flaps until i saw this.

REGRETS

• Not ordering town mirrors or 20” wheels.
