Well, with my wife's 4Runner totaled, and currently not able to locate a new one for her, I may be in a position soon where I just have to go buy a beater to keep her on the road. My Tacoma is a stick and she can't drive it. If Ford would deliver my truck it would solve all my problems but it continues to sit, unshipped.....

3 weeks in. 1600mi, brand new truck. 4 days after tinting was done. Brand new chip in windshield. I almost cried. My wife didn’t understand.

Maybe one day ford will figure out how to ship our vehicles that are still awaiting shipment. Talked to ford chat yesterday morning delivery July 8th was like yeah don’t see that happening since it hasn’t shipped and today is the 8th. Messaged them last night now July 19th-25th but last update June 18th. Was like that last update is bullshit since it was July 8th this morning. And got told please don’t get hateful or I will have to cut the chat off.

My dealer called on Saturday and said my truck finally shipped. Got the email confirmation this morning. Estimated arrival is the 27th-2nd of Aug. originally was supposed to arrive by July 9th. Hopefully I shows up A bit earlier. Brother ordered same truck and they were in production same day and completed on 5/31. His is in Vegas waiting to be delivered to dealer. Should be today or tomorrow. No idea how ford prioritizes shipments.

Nowadays instead of using large car-haulers which can transport a bunch of vehicles in one load, vehicles often are being delivered on small trailers with a capacity of one or two. My dealer said they don't see too many haulers anymore - adding to delays.

This whole process is frustrating & the lack of communication makes it worse.

My truck was built May 25th, shipped June 22nd, seemed to sit in Blue Island, IL for more than a week and is now sitting at the rail yard only 35 miles from the dealer for 10 days. I only know this from daily updates from Ford Chat.

Delivery date has come and gone 3 times so far.

This misery never ends.

Well I just emailed another dealer that has a vehicle closely spec'd to what I ordered a few minor difference and Carbonized Grey instead of Black and chrome instead of sport but we will see if they get back to me. Since I gave them all the numbers from my order and the rebates and what not and said if you can get me close to that number I will take it.

Sorry guys, it sucks.
For what it’s worth, my first lariat bap powerboost order showed up at koons this week. They have it listed as an xlt for 67k. I was supposed to get it for 59k or so.

let me know if anybody wants more details.

I got an update last night too July 15-21st. The other dealer sold the one that I was interested in so I guess our waiting continues.

The last email I had from ford on Jul 5 pushed out my estimated delivery to Jul 11-17. Since it's still showing "awaiting shipment" on ordertrack.app since May 31, I didn't have high hopes they would meet those dates.

Low and behold, I got a call from my dealer today for the first time since I ordered the truck on April 11 saying they got an alert my truck will be here soon and asking if I still planned on taking delivery! He showed the truck still hadn't left MI, but said his alerts are usually pretty accurate, so he thought it should be in next week or so. We'll see, but yay!

Hope your dealers alerts are more accurate than mine. Since mine got a call June 2nd that the trucking company had it, even showed in transit on ordertrack and shipped on ford's tracking. Then on June 18th it switched back to awaiting shipment on both.
