Now that we're getting deliveries...Is anyone here having trouble getting price protection with their dealer?

My truck was delivered to the dealer Tuesday evening. Still shows "In Transit" in order app and the Ford tracker. This will probably shock no one, but I think the tracker is back to being broken.

I didn't want to say it out loud for fear of jinxing it, but I had hoped that was the case and my truck would be at the dealer next week. That said I need to know! haha. I have monies to move around and plane ticket to buy.

I know the ramp well, it's right off 95 and HUGE.

I spent the extra $50 for "refundable" tickets, they don't make getting the refund very straight forward, but I booked 3 different tickets all for much less than what they're currently listed for even with the additional $50.

I just moved the cash, it was only earning 0.85% anyway haha.

I guess buying a ticket last minute would be more expensive than buying several different refundables?

It depends on availability if there's only one seat left they'll charge 3x, if there are a ton of seats, it will start to drop real fast.

Flight I'm on Monday isn't even available any more, but last I saw the non-refundable cheapest ticket on that flight was 30% more than I paid for the refundable one on Tuesday of last week.

Ah I see. Best to ask folks who also ordered from your dealer. If you ordered from Granger, your price will be what was quoted. Chapman, and you might be in for a fight.

I ordered through Chapman and was given price and payment quote at time of order, signed paperwork and gave a deposit so finger crossed they dont pull any kind of nonsense.

Hope so buddy. I just saw that some folks were having trouble. But at this point, enough people have sent them that price protection info that they stopped their shenanigans
