I have a 601a king ranch it’s a powerboost all I’m missing is the 6F1 module, it is to do with the powerboost DC/AC converter Module

I'm happy for you but it boggles my mind still how your truck made it through when so many didnt. And I know I am trying to do the impossible by using common sense with this process but still.

7e4 = I cannot find anything in Forscan that matches this
7c4 = side obstacle detection (drivers) - BLIS, brake controller, auto park, wiper sensors
7c6 = side obstacle detection (passanger) - BLIS, brake controller, auto park, wiper sensors

How are you all determining missing chips, literally manually comparing against other builds??

I see that I have all 3 mentioned above: 7e4, 7c4 and 7c6 but I’m still on chip hold.

I’m lurking from the 4/18 build section, but not many in my build week so I’ve been trying to cobble information where possible.

There is really no way to know. We are all really just guessing and going off rumors. I have inside info that says it appears mine is a wiper motor issue from the build data, not an actual chip (but yet he has no way to ACTUALLY know, just going off build data missing)

If I had to guess yours might be for the assist 2.0, nav and/or 360 cams. Most likely chips/parts for those and they have all been commodity issues as of lately. Max tow also seems to be a common option between trucks that are on hold.

my other truck has been sitting since 3/31 waiting for chips. Funnily enough the 3/31 truck does have the modules my 5/20 one is now missing.

I just checked the Ford tracker and it suddenly says my truck is built and awaiting shipment. Those details are N/A. Order app has not updated.

I was told Chip hold until mid-June.

my other truck has been sitting since 3/31 waiting for chips. Funnily enough the 3/31 truck does have the modules my 5/20 one is now missing.

Blend date was may 10th and I have an eta of September 14th

And now this morning received notification that it shipped and is arriving June 17-23.

Here’s to hoping all of your chip holds come off and you get same notifications.

Anyone know how long a dealer will hold onto a truck before they say it’s time to pickup? I can’t imagine there is that much that goes into the prep.

I test drove one that needed dealer prep before it could be driven, it took less than an hour. If it had been 4wd I would’ve bought it.

I am being impatient but that is what I was thinking as well.

To me it seems like if Ford gets a shipment of chips/parts they put it into the assembly line so some trucks are getting lucky and being built while others are put on chip hold waiting for a surplus of chips/parts. I would think it would be much more efficient for Ford to integrate parts in the factory then going to trucks in the yard to install missing chips/parts.

Checked with Ford chat this morning, I was worried even though mine shipped this weekend, that it was still sitting there (lots of horror stories about being shipped for 2 months while the truck is still in Michigan). They told me it was in Illinois as of Tuesday. So it has in fact, actually shipped!

Ford chat is still giving me Oct for ETA. Won't be back on here until something changes for my sanity.

If it makes you feel better my ETA was September and a week later my truck had been delivered to the dealership.
