I called the Ford marketing hotline to see if they could tell me anything specific about the status relative to others' experiences (i.e., getting "built," getting a May/June delivery ETA, then getting a September/October delivery ETA). I got the same info I got in my built email: truck is built, end of June delivery. He said there were no signs of any chip or part holds, that the delay was purely logistical/shipping related. I asked him "if a train pulled up today with an open spot, could my truck get on it?" and he said "yes," based on what he sees. Still waiting to hear back from my dealer to see what they show on the VVR. Also, no still no shipping info at all on ordertrack or palsapp--that, along with these bumped delivery windows has me concerned the same may be about to happen to me.

The only thing I could think that might be different about my Dearborn order was that it was so late in the sequence that the shortage issue that impacted others may have been resolved by my build? That seems to be the only ray of hope.

I give up, I cannot even keep the sheet updated anymore with all of these wild swings. damn ridiculous. I've invested (wasted?) so much time on this forum (and others) since I ordered in December and I still have nothing to show. I'm sure nearly each of you can make the same statement.

The worst part of it is that Ford doesn't care, they will keep on churning out reduced spec trucks and people will keep on buying them, WHEN they deliver. Whether I will take a MY22 delivered in Oct 22, ordered in Dec 21 is a different question, but I'm sure hundreds of others might be eagerly waiting in line.
Yeah, the sheet is starting to look like a Christmas tree. I'd give it a few days to a few weeks to settle in. We have some "optimistic" ETAs to dealers coming up in late May/early June. If they hold true than there's hope that the September/October dates may be sandbagging.

Regarding letting your order go, dealers would LOVE that as it gives them a nicely built F150 at MSRP+ADM to sell. Probably a nice boost to their stock of vehicles after being so short for so long. If I can wait, I will. Just bizarre times for sure.

Just check my modules and they are showing. This happened to me just before my modules populated on Saturday - server not available. Wait an hour and give it another try.

Well I'll be avoiding the chat for a bit...

Ford F-150 05/09/22 Build week 1652801897065

They went on to say they are not seeing when it should be outside of this status, it still states TBD.

Not bad news, but not good news.

If I don't have modules by tonight though, I'm gonna go with I'm screwed.

I'm fortunate to have a work vehicle, truck and wife's car. Traded in a 2013 fusion hybrid with just 55k miles. Wish I kept it rather than my truck but couldn't put much in to travel. So waiting isn't an issue for me. The issue is the inconsistencies with this entire process. So many places to gather info from and almost all are different, including multiple times from the same source like the chat. I feel bad for everyone that traded in a vehicle to get the most they can with this market and don't have another.

I'm very lucky to be in a 3 vehicle, 2 driver family, however, my truck just this past week moved 2 tons of retaining wall, half ton of soil, and enough cinder block to make my body quit before it did. We have nothing else to move that stuff, the rental route has crossed my mind, but if these new chip shortage/etas are accurate... Well there's about to be even less trucks available than during the last one and even if gas is $5 a gallon, they'll buy my used F150 for whatever I ask because a business will "NEED" that vehicle.

LMAO this is such a s**t show. Maybe I've gotten some more positive information, from Ford Chat of all places?

Candice: There are not holds or delays currently on your order. It is in transit and estimated to be delivered by June 28th.
10:35, May 17
bdl: do you have any tracking information or carrier information regarding it being in transit
10:36, May 17
Candice: Yes, it was shipped rail - Railcar # TTGX988882 (Canadian National Railways).
Now, I don't profess to be a logistics expert, but I do know how to read a map, and Canada is the wrong direction from Texas, but I'll take leaving Ford's plant as a win at this point (I've googled them and they appear to serve the Southern US). Still waiting to see if my dealer can confirm this information. FWIW, Ford tracker and ordertrack still don't show any shipping information. I'm not familiar with what a customary wait time might be (if that information is accurate).

Ford can't get logistics right for there parts, we're lucky trucks even show up at this point.

I think our production week really shows how much they're going in with these electric trucks, giving them priority for chips/parts over ours.

We are paying customers. This is inexcusable business practice. This ideology that we should feel grateful is ridiculous. When I see a brand new f150s with my exact spec ordered months after me pull up next to me in a parking lot I have the right to be enraged. Where the hell else is this acceptable. So close to pulling the cord on this bull sh**. Wait patiently 5 months, literally get to the finish line, hahaha just kidding 5 more months! Pathetic on fords part. Pathetic on my part for being a willing participant in this mess.

My dealer emailed me and said
“Should be a week or two, not to long, almost there.”
I have no idea what to believe lol
