Just chatted with Ford...I am more confused now than I was before. They verified that the email was not a mistake that it is listed as built and awaiting shipment. However there a "chip at plant on hold" attached to the order. She said there was a secondary status that it will be released from chip hold today..... why would they list it as built awaiting shipment if there's a chip hold on it? I've got nothing haha

your chip hold could be a non-essential chip. They did state a while back they will ship vehicles without chips if it is not a safety feature to be installed by the dealer. Maybe???? I'm at a loss for words with Ford, honestly.

Or you got lucky and they installed the chip that arrived today and able to ship now!? It is the year 2022 and conspiracy theory's are fun.

I received built email at 3:03 cst this morning. It's showing delivery between 5/25 - 5/31. It's currently in picked status on the order tracker app.

Going to confirm with dealer here shortly..

Just confirmed with dealer. His report shows delivery between 5/25-5/31 as well.

Without our trucks conspiracy theories are all that we have haha. Maybe that 2nd part is right and I was on chip hold until today??? The only reason I say that is the expected delivery date they gave me Saturday still matches up with the expected delivery date they're giving me today now that it's "awaiting shipment". After being told Saturday I was on chip hold I had mentally prepared myself to wait a few months for a built email and had come to terms with it and now look at me...

It could also be entirely true, given that others with same or similar build dates as mine have ship dates. One thing we talked about , and with other agents, mine never showed "holds" of any kind, other than the generic "shortages" and supply chain issues that everyone had or has.

It seems suspicious that the chat tells you still in production. My 3 plus months of watching builds on this forum has taught me that any date chat gives is the end of the current status. Hopefully your chat is just another mouth breather that cant properly interpret the information properly and you are built, awaiting shipment

Blend date 5/13. All modules showing. Activate button in Ford App. No emails yet. Tracker still says in production. Called support line this morning and they said is is "produced" with a target date of 5/28. I asked how it can be produced and have a target date of 5/28 and they said they were likely just waiting for shipping? I asked if there is a chip hold and they didn't see anything on their end that would indicate such.

UPDATE: Just spoke with my dealer and it is showing produced with a DELIVERY ETA of 5/22 to 5/28. I am completely convinced that the chat feature/help line only give you part of the story. Any info from them should be taken with a grain of salt.

As for me, blend 5/14, no built emails, no modules, no shipping info on ordertack, no change in status there or on Ford's tracker, no activate button in the Ford app, no tracking info on palsapp. Today/tonight is probably when I should expect to see some development, but I'm not seeing any of the signs of life others have seen, so far. I'll chat in a few minutes, but I feel like that's basically like talking to a fortune teller.

I was wondering about you. I feel optimistic for your build since news out of KC has been good, and I knew your blend was a day after mine.

Chat just now said only that my status shows as "in production" still with no indication of when it may be completed or shipped, but also no indication of holds or delays (honestly not sure if there even would be any indication of delays that would manifest less than 48 after blend date). So nothing. It's been a little odd to me that most folks in this build week seem to have had shipping information available since their WS dropped and yet I still have no update. Like you said, the day is young and I'm hoping to hear something definitive by this evening.

I'm on chip hold. I called the Ford marketing line and the lady confirmed that my truck was built but needed a chip to finish.

Estimated delivery on 6/11 to dealer though. Hopefully it doesn't get moved back.

Thanks, hope your Dearborn builds make progress soon. I've done a good job not getting my hopes up until it's marked "Shipped" and even then I will be keeping my cool as I know freak accidents can happen.
