I just used Ford Chat for the first time to ask about my order. She told me no chip hold is noted at all, but still in production. She did give me an eta of 3/11-3/17 at Granger. So I'm gonna keep my hopes up a little. ?
yea I was in build forever it seemed. They missed 6 ETA's before they got it right. Hang in there it will happen, the highest number I see with missed eta's is 21. but I think things have gotten a little better.

Good luck, I am like a kid the week before Christmas. I better not get clothes. lol

Just chatted with Ford. They say still in production, but I do have an ETA of 8-14 March. That is a little reassuring.

Man, Now I am remembering all the hell me and @Blackout150 have gone through.

So here is what I personally experienced and what I believe to be the case. Note I said believe, no idea for sure.

on or around 12/4 I received my first ETA. per the VVR report I received From Granger the location of my truck was, and remained, at (Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI)

on 1/13 I got my 5th ETA and per the VVR report from Granger my truck location changed to (Ramp 4G).

on 1/23 My truck arrived at the Kansas rail yard, and my 6th eta hand passed. VVR Location (Ramp 6P, Kansas City Mc, MO)

on 1/24 my truck arrived at Granger. no idea what the VVR said, and I do not care.

on 1/25 I received Pics of my truck from Granger.

on 2/23 I will pick it up and drive it home.

So This is my take on the process based on all that. Just my take.

once the truck comes off the line, it moves to the status of awaiting to be shipped.

However things done off the line, like spray in liner and such still needs to occur. <-- Pure speculation on my part here.

Once the truck is 100% done it gets parked next to all the other trucks in a huge pool that need to be shipped.

Then at some point you win the golden ticket, your truck gets moved to a Ramp 4G.

then within a day or three, or..., it is loaded onto a train. No everlasting gum drop just yet though. Still needs to get to your dealer.

once it hits the rail yard, you need some fizzy lifting drink, burp a few time, and it will show up on the dealer.

Now you can take that elevator ride.

Good luck all.

Did you happen to check on your window sticker throughout any of this? I pull mine everyday to see if that little grid section at the top changes. It has been showing 'R' which I understand means storage. If you look at a window sticker after delivery, it will have a state and other things listed.

Not sure if your talking about the R avove the word Ramp at the very top.

Anyway I just did a quick compare between a WS on took a snapshot of on 11/15, and another one on 1/27. The date at the bottom of the WS.

I see nothing different but there is a tun of info on the WS. Need to be more spacific please.

You found it. It may not change on a special order. On a dealer order, BUMP, CAMP, CERT have something shown above.
Just looking for clues while I wait.

I get it. I scoured these blogs every single day when I was waiting for a VIN, or any other status change all the way upto hitting the dealer. I am addicted now. Might change after I pick it up.

So most of us that had the chip hold were all over the place. Mine moved locations 4 times that I know of. Who knows exactly how many for sure. Came with 60 miles on it. I know @PPEng15 has more miles then that. But after I got built status (12-30-22) it took 2 days to ship but mine left from flat rock assembly plant. Thinking that is because it still needed stuff done that they did there. From there it went to blue island Illinois. Sat for 3 days while switching train carriers. (Canadian national to BNSF). Then took them to Needles California where it sat for 4 days and switched to Union Pacific. Went to final rail yard in Richmond CA and sat for a week before being transported to dealer. I picked it up one day after it was delivered. 1-26-2022.
Good luck all you guys. There was and is a bunch of guys still waiting for there my22. You guys seem to be going smoothly so far. Hope you get them soon

My window sticker has been unavailable all day. I’m sure the truck must have instantaneously combusted and now I’m screwed.

Over at the f150forum.com there is a guide called "Guide: Understanding and Tracking Your Custom Order" that mentions the Window Sticker Update Date. It says:

This date is a bit of an unknown. It will may change many times throughout the cycle, with no indication that anything on the sticker or build process has changed. I feel safe ignoring this date completely.
That statement leaves me with the impression that the window sticker may get regenerated from time-to-time even if nothing changes.

Well, my last update is a bit discouraging. Still technically "In Production", but the VinView is showing Produced, and Sent Offsite as of 2/15, the day after my blend. I don't have any post assembly add-ons (like bed protector, wheel well liner, etc), so my assumption is I'm on some kind of hold. Granger confirmed there are no plant holds noted, but Ford will show this secondary status for transportation holds, as well. Hopefully I won't be there long. ETA to Granger is still showing 3/11-3/17.

Where did you get that extra info ? from Granger? I am about a week behind you- getting built this week.

Yes, I just emailed and Savannah was friendly and quick with a vinview screenshot. It's the first time I've asked for any update from them, so hopefully I wasn't too much a bother.

I worked with Savannah as well. She was great. Looking forward to seeing her on Thursday to pick my truck up.

I asked her for an update every time my ETA expired. You are spending a small fortune so getting a status update should be expected. Just wait for each ETA to expire and you should be fine.

Cheers.
