Any clue why Ford adds a Stone Grey bumper when you select Blue Cruise? I noticed my build status showed a grey bumper, and I just replicated this on the online build tool.

Have to believe it is just an error in the depiction, my chrome package shows painted bumper...

So, with my Truck sitting at Ramp 5 in New Boston, Michigan, I've been waiting for something to show some movement. This afternoon on the Ford app the "Activation Pending" changed to "Your Activation Request Was Denied". I'm assuming someone started my Truck & canceled the request.

So, with my Truck sitting at Ramp 5 in New Boston, Michigan, I've been waiting for something to show some movement. This afternoon on the Ford app the "Activation Pending" changed to "Your Activation Request Was Denied". I'm assuming someone started my Truck & canceled the request.

Mine did that a week or so ago and I had the same thought but someone explained that the activation request just times out after a while.

This happened to me about the same time it was loaded on a rail car. I’ve waited a few days and hit activate again hoping it being denied again will be another indicator of it being loaded on a trailer for delivery to the dealer.

I hit activate again the same day, so we will see

Not the way I wanted my Monday to begin. I checked my dealers website this morning and my truck is listed as "In Stock". Since it only had a stock photo, I was pretty certain that it wasn't really there, but was hoping the dealer had a new update. Unfortunately, my salesman said there was no change, still on chip hold and estimating completion on May 20, which will be 6 months from my order. Guess I am still practicing patience!!

Per the Ford tracker, my F-150 Lariat Powerboost has been shipped!!! Hopefully it won't take too long. It shipped from Ramp 51 in Flat Rock, MI.

Now both my sales rep and the Ford Chat feature are on the same page and told me that my truck is sitting on a train in Albany, N.Y. (Selkirk Rail Yard) and is just waiting for a car carrier to bring it to the dealership!!!

Are you saying they added $823 to your window sticker price and then subtracted all the deductions?

The Dec 27 base price increase was $880 and the Feb 15 base price increase eas $1500. The increases effective today varied by trim level, packages, and options.

My activate button has finally appeared in FordPass!

I know it likely means nothing as they often appear weeks before any movement but I’m going to take anything I can get since I have had zero updates since the delivery was delayed 3 months immediately following the build.

I called Ford Marketing last week and they suggested still on track for on or before May 22 ETA to the dealer which was the original “reschedule” date from back in early Feb. This seems to align.

RalpL, What's the update on your Truck? Price Protwctions? Incentives, Financing?

Sorry, I've fallen off the net. I picked up my truck Fri afternoon Apr 15. Fantastic! Chapman honored all three of my incentives ($3500 conversion cash, $1000 order cash & $500 military). The program number for the order cash was 38150, but I'll double-check my paperwork. I was price-protected to the Oct 1 order date with PL215. However, it did take a bit of "discussion" to ensure we were on the same page. The paper process couldn't have been any easier and they were quite accommodating to squeeze me into the schedule. They move a phenomenal amount of vehicles and usually operate on a first in, first out basis. I decided to pay cash to expedite closing the deal. I bought a PremiumCare ESP 8yr/100K, no ded, all options for $2350, which is almost half of what I would pay in FL. I also have added a roll-up bed cover and a bed mat. Next items are mud flaps and wheelwell liners.

Two negatives in the next post - nothing to do with my positive customer experience at Chapman Ford of Horsham. I am still stunned I actually have my truck and some many from our build week and earlier are still waiting. I would really like to close out our spreadsheet and show everyone delivered!

Really happy for you Ralph, great looking KR! Maybe you can keep us up to date on its performance/gas mileage and let those of us who are still waiting to live vicariously through your experience.
