Finally some good news! You know, I'm still tracking my cancelled Koons order out of curiosity. It doesn't show on their website and the Ford tracker indicates it's still in production status since Jan 24th.

I'm going write up an observations post on my truck as I pass the 1500 mile mark.

Unfortunately, I'm going to need to keep my old truck because I tow alot and Ford recommends not towing until 1,000 miles.

Finally received my Built notification today with a May 6-11 range! Unfortunately, 18 hours later I received the “we need more time” email and the target delivery timeframe pushed out to May 16-22. May 16-22 was the same as shown as the ETA on the latest VVR screenshot, so I think I’m some cases the ETA is indeed arrival to dealer even when stuck in the “In production” status.

This is consistent with what Ford marketing suggested last time I called. It also makes me suspect there are some automated emails in play so even when an updated delivery date is known the earlier dates are still getting sent out initially.

Either way, excited the truck is off chip hold and moving through the process!

I finally got some good news from the dealer today and according to them my truck is off chip hold with an estimated delivery around May 14th but could be sooner. I haven't got a built email yet but it nice to at least hear something is happening finally. i'm getting really excited and a little nervous expecially about some of the problems I have been reading about on this forum. Probally should decide on a bed liner and tonneau cover soon.

Confirmed my Truck is on the Train headed for Baltimore. Using the Railcar # from the Vehicle Visibility Report and calling CSX works great. Most likely delivery will be on May 2nd which also happens to be the end of the current financing incentives.

Should I push to take delivery on Monday or wait til the new incentives are released?

Update: My Truck is arriving at the final railyard tomorrow @ 1am. Now I just need a vehicle carrier to pick it up!!

Looks like my truck has "Shipped." Anyone have any idea how long this is going to take? I'm trying to figure out when to list my current vehicle for sale.

There is no set time frame, depends on the railway, getting a full carrier load, having a driver available, etc. But to give you an idea, my truck shipped from KC on 3/14 and landed at the dealer near Philly on 4/5.

Did you get a trade value from the dealer? Most are in desperate need of used trucks. I turned in my lease and made a good buck off of it.

Supposedly my dealer is in need of inventory, and looking at their lot yesterday they do. However I felt their offer as a trade in was a low ball one. So I sold mine myself an gained several thousand dollars.

Sometimes though, as long as they are near what you think you can get, it’s worth taking a small hit just to avoid the inevitable tire kickers and lowballers wasting your time. lol

If I try to sell, I have to get $3000 more from private party in order to break even because I don't pay sales tax on the trade-in value where I would have to pay sales tax on entire purchase value of the new vehicle if I don't have a trade-in.

Checked a couple of local dealers yesterday to see what they have and one has a dealer ordered Lariat similarly equiped to my order that was built week of 1/10/22 and it showed to be "built" as of 4/25; hopefully that means mine is only two weeks out. To rub salt in the wound, my dealer sent me an email supposedly direct from the salesman I'm working with inviting me to come in and test drive a new F-150 today. I called the salesman and asked "what gives?" to which he replied that he was on vacation and hadn't sent the email, it was just a spam mail from the dealer. ?

I haven't talked about trading in my vehicle to my dealer. I plan to either sell it to carmax or sell it privately. I won't be saving any money by trading it in since I don't have to pay sales tax for a new vehicle in TN.

Why is it that I can't track my truck on pals app or united road? Are there any other tracking sites that anyone can recommend?
