Picked up the truck tonight (Wednesday). It was dark by the time I left. Will get pictures in a day or two if yall are interested. Dealer did not honor the original invoice price. $823 increase. I said it should have been price protected, but they said it wasn't. Although my window sticker price never changed. The dealer prep, electronic registration fee, title, registration, and doc stamps taxes were ($561.20) I thought that was good. I was given a $500 and $700 incentive. I was offered $16'500 for my trade although Carmax gave me an offer of $18'500. Overall I paid $2000 less than the original MSRP AFTER taxes and fees without a trade-in considered. So not a steal but since so many dealers are charging MSRP and more, I don't think I will say anything negative about the deal.

Congrats, but sucks about the price issue. My dealer reduced the price by the 2021-22 increase (about $880?).

I got a $1,500 rebate instead of $1,000, but they couldn't honor the financing available when I ordered. I still got the payment I wanted, and 2.74% for a car isn't tragic, but still.

Anyhow, enjoy! It's still worth it!

Congrats, hopefully I can get mine tomorrow - Oops, later today.

Are you saying they added $823 to your window sticker price and then subtracted all the deductions?

The Dec 27 base price increase was $880 and the Feb 15 base price increase eas $1500. The increases effective today varied by trim level, packages, and options.

Did your dealer say why your original order is not "Price Protected"?

No. But, I could tell that they did not care if I bought the truck or not since they could sell it tomorrow to someone else for MSRP. I could have made a stink but I am not confrontational and it would have damaged the relationship with the person I know there who is the only reason I didn't pay retail.

I know what you mean. I'm trying to arrange picking up my truck this evening and I'm dealing with a guy who seems to be a bit "old school" type of car dealer. Maybe that's the case with a lot of the "back room" folks!

Well, I guess when Ford says a Truck is "Shipped", it only means it has left the plant property. Mine has been sitting at Ramp 5 in New Boston, Michigan since 11 April. No Railcar # assigned yet.

So here is some good news!! I called Ford Customer Service 800-392-3673, and they confirmed from 2 separate sources that nothing has changed with Ford's Price and Incentive Protection. Any Price, Rebate, or Financing Incentive is protected!! The discussion was documented on my account.

She wished customers would call with these type of dealer issues and asked if I wanted to file a complaint. I told her I wasn't ready to file a complaint yet, but if the dealer didn't honor any part of the Price & Incentive Protection, I would definitely be filing a complaint and I would provide in detail all the deception of this dealership on the F-150 Forums.

I later sent this information to my dealership contact via text and they texted back and said that the information they previously told me earlier in the week that Ford was no longer honoring the Price Protection was incorrect and that I shouldn't have any problems. We will see in about 2 weeks.

A little tint, wheel well liners, antenna, duraliner bedliner, and removal of sport 4x4 sticker and Powerboost badges. Not yet washed and waxed.

This is great info. Bookmarking in case I have any issues with my dealer.

I'm curious how many of us waiting on chip hold since January have large discounts pending sale due to special offers.

I'm curious how many of us waiting on chip hold have large discounts pending sale due to special offers. Could Ford be waiting for us to abandon the deal to avoid honoring the discounts and being able to sell the abandoned trucks at current pricing? My discount total is $5000...
The same thought crossed my mind. I don’t have much in way of corp discounts but certainly not as profitable for them as selling retail today.

They have clearly prioritized dealer builds coming off the line, which may be what we are seeing and not quite as sinister but still a very poor way to treat customers especially when they were very actively promoting orders over off-the-lot purchases . I have tracked many VINs all the way to a local dealer. Same exact builds down to the smallest detail, which is super frustrating.
