Which one??
This is the order through Chapman Ford of Horsham. The Koons order still shows as "In Production" but the Activate Vehicle button now shows in FordPass tonight.

I get the feeling that we are going to see a wave of trucks being built and shipping. These trucks will probably be missing components; this would be in line with Ford’s announcement last week. I really hope I’m wrong and our trucks come fully functional.

I thought I would provide a little update of the 44 Trucks I'm tracking for Build Weeks 1/10, 1/17, and 1/24. Also, 11 Trucks for weeks after 1/24 specific to my dealer were tracked.

Of the 44 Trucks for the Chip Hold weeks, 3 were Built, Shipped, & Delivered in February and 11 were Built so far in March. Of the 11 Built in March, 6 have shipped and 1 has been delivered.

Regarding the 11 Trucks with Build weeks after 1/24, all 11 have been Built, 10 have been shipped, and 7 have been delivered. The 1 that has not been shipped is a Tremor with a Built date of 3/9.

Not really exciting news for us, but better than nothing. For those waiting for Trucks with Build Dates right after us, it looks like they are better off.

The Good news I guess is that for the Trucks going to the Maryland, DC, & Virginia area, most Trucks are shipped fairly quickly after they are Built and are delivered to the dealer within 15 days of the Built date.

Personally I have never received any emails from Ford concerning either of my orders - one through Koons and the other through Chapman. It seems this is a blanket email - even the folks ordering a Lightning have received it. Perhaps anyone with an outstanding order received it - at least those who get emails from Ford.
Not all received. I ordered on 2/12. I received the order confirmation email before i left the dealer.

I did not recieve that email. I know at least 1 forum member recieved it who ordered after i did.

You can add mine if you like to your tracking. Blend date 1/06, built 1/26. Still hasn't shipped out of Dearborn. 701A with FX4, max tow, moon roof, spray in bedliner, 7.2 kVa, max recline seats.

VVR shows it is complete as of 1/26, there is no chip hold. Just shipping and convoy delays.

I'm suspecting they damaged it in storage or something.

New update.

Ford F-150 01/24/2022 Build Week 1647999338303

Maybe I’m not so fond of this new Ford that emails me 3 times in five days.

Friday-change is status email- I get depressed thinking it going to be a while
Saturday-built email eta 4/4-4/11-I get really excited thinking the truck is two weeks out
Today-pushed back to May 20-depressed again

Well, I think someone at Ford was in the truck yesterday...I got a "Activation Request was Denied by the primary user" notice in FordPass. When my activation button for the truck appeared in FordPass a couple weeks back, I touched it to see what would happen. It had been in "Activation Pending" state since then. After the "access denied" notification, the Activation button reappeared and activation is no longer pending. Gives me hope that there was some other positive reason that someone was in the truck. ?

It might have just finally timed out. I once took the VIN of a truck in stock at a local dealer that I was considering and added it to my FordPass. Curiosity got the best of me and I pressed the Activate Button. It was pending for a while, finally was denied, and the button reappeared. I then deleted the vehicle from my FordPass when the the dealer told me there would be a $5K ADM.

I am curious about something for those who have already gotten delivery. When did the date stop changing on the window sticker? Mine has today's date, 23 March 2022. The last email from Ford gave me an eta of 24 March-30March. Andymcc is checking palsapp for me and has seen nothing with my VIN. Maybe it really has not shipped at all and the ETA is really back to May. Seems like if it shipped, then the window sticker would stop being updated.

Checked the tracker this afternoon & it shows my truck (Platinum Power Boost 4x4) is in shipment to my dealer in the Houston area. Truck is going by rail and No ETA was given. The Sales manager told me yesterday it would be 3-4 weeks before it hits Houston and another 3-7 days to dealership depending if they can find a truck to deliver.

Just because he told you there was a dealer markup, doesnt mean you have to pay it.

The wife traded in her 2018 Equinox for a 2022 Subaru Outback last week.

When negotiating the deal, i noticed the $4800 ADM. Sitting at the sales desk, i pulled up my phone and looked for Subaru dealers. One advertising no markup. Called and put it on speaker. Lady answered. "Hi, im calling around to local Subaru dealers to ask if you markup over MSRP". "No, we never add markup over MSRP".

Hung up, salesguy just staring at me.
"Obvisouly I am not paying that $4800 or we are going to that dealer".

Came right off.

I went to the local Ford dealer. They had a 5500 ADM and didnt want to accept xplan. I told the guy to get the sales manger. Told him staight out. I am not paying ADM and not accepting xplan is bs.

He started rambling about market conditions. I cut him off. You just lost a sale and future service visits and walked out. Ordered from dealer that has no ADM and never questioned xplan.

The original dealer called me back 4 times. Finally talked to owner and told him his business is shady a.f. and they need to stop calling me.

What is xplan?
We are a ford supplier. Not parts to build vehicles, contol systems/robots that they use in the plants automation systems.

We get the xplan. Savings off MSRP.
My truck order msrp is 45.7k. My final price including delivery is 41k. So @4k off MSRP. Xplan also limits doc fees and the like. Dont have to waste time haggling over price.

Discount on base price and options discount. For example, FX4 was $900 not 1k.
