I’ll pass, not looking to keep track of everyone else.No one is doing it in 1/31 cause we are all busy. If you want to volunteer for our group, I'll second that motion.

But you want your ass to be baby sit even in the wrong week right? That is patheticI’ll pass, not looking to keep track of everyone else.
I think it is probably Ralph’s call if he wants to track another one.But you want your ass to be baby sit even in the wrong week right? That is pathetic
off course it is not saying this… it is about his commentI think it is probably Ralph’s call if he wants to track another one.
Thank you! Really appreciate all you’re doing to keep track. Thanks for circling back around with us. It seems our other Sunday builds were also pushed off until Monday. I'll update and post a new spreadsheet later this morning after I check mine.
Jesus dude calm down, he offered to include another dude from my build week but f*ck me for asking right? Lol never asked to be babysit and I have a life outside this forum so I doubt people would wanna rely on someone who doesn’t have the time to invest. No need for your keyboard aggression pal.?But you want your ass to be baby sit even in the wrong week right? That is pathetic
I hear what you're saying. If it's my company and I have all the parts but one or two and can assemble 99% of the finished product, do I shut the entire production process down or build what I can and finish it. If I want to stay in business, I build what I can because I'm still paying all the overhead it takes to keep the doors open. You're also right that that mostly finished truck will sit someplace during that time. If it's not finished, a large number of the components will sit somewhere in similar conditions. Kind of a wash to me.I both agree and disagree. They should have all the parts in advance. If you have all the parts needed to build the truck their wouldn’t be this problem. Instead, a partially built truck will be sitting in some obscure lot for many months waiting for a few items. If I knew it would take this long to get my truck I would have held onto my old truck longer or looked for another one elsewhere. Instead, many of us traded a vehicle in advance of the build for an agreed price and we’re told production was ramping up and you’d have a 6 to 8 week wait. If this goes to May I’ll have waited 10 months.
Ford is greedy and wants your money, so they keep building partially completed trucks knowing your locked in and have no choice but to wait.
I too believe that when the chips arrive they will go into trucks currently in production and those chips they currently have are going into orders by dealerships to be sold on their lots now. It’s less productive for them to pull a vehicle from a lot somewhere on or off site, potentially tow it to a production area (if necessary) and complete it. Those vehicles on a chip hold most likely are not a priority to them.
Very well stated! I completely agree. As disappointed I am that mine is sitting in a lot somewhere, probably already starting to rust, it is at least built and just waiting for a chip or two or 10. I think that’s better than waiting for it to be built until everything is there and have the parts stolen for some other build where everything else is ready. That said I’ll probably eat my words and the next 3 months will drive me crazy if we really have to wait that long on a chip hold.I hear what you're saying. If it's my company and I have all the parts but one or two and can assemble 99% of the finished product, do I shut the entire production process down or build what I can and finish it. I think we can all agree that Ford wants your money, that's their job. Take your money and supply a product. I suspect nobody here has or will pay for that product until it is delivered. I have a hard time considering that greedy. I sympathize with you trading your truck and then having an extended wait. I knew that wasn't an option for me, so I got the dealer to lock in a trade price. I took a bit of hit on the trade value to do that. It's all what you're willing to do vs. what you're able to do.
The bottom line for me is that if I'm not happy with the deal I've made, I'm free to walk away from it at any time and it doesn't cost me a dime. That was a deal I made with the dealership. I have every ability to walk and try to find a truck off the lot somewhere from any manufacturer. I likely won't do that because I know that there's no way I'll get a deal even remotely as good as what I've ordering this truck.
I've had a Gen 1 and Gen 2 Raptor. I wanted each of those as soon as they started making them but knew there would be extra expense associated with being the first kid on the block to have one. Instead I waited until the 2nd or 3rd model year on each and got the price I was looking for. Unfortunately, with the current supply issues, the entire line operates under similar principles.
....and as others have said, thanks to Ralph for keeping such close tabs on all of this.
What does Convoy Transport mean? That’s on my window sticker…Sorry for the delay. Build date slipped to 1/30 and then 1/31 Production. Initial delivery estimate was 2/22, but then appears to have jumped to 5/22 this afternoon. Blend date was 1/30. Convoy transport. This is all off the Ford website tracker. I’m waiting to hear from the dealer on more detailed status, but assuming it is a chip hold as with so many others. Hoping the date pulls back in!
Thanks @RalpL! I hadn’t seen the update from Zach, but sounds promising.Wow - I go out to dinner for a good steak and find the thread all lit up when I got home! ? Thanks for all the kind words - it's truly appreciated. I should have anticipated additional requests to be added to the spreadsheet when I offered @Leaf25 but it's really not a problem. I see where @TN Rotty had a couple of build weeks on his spreadsheet. I must admit to initially being put off by the comment about "being busy." However, I always look for balance and all of @Kodyray72 's info is there making it an easy input. @Ja1 made a good point, but we can all move on. We're all in this together, but hopefully not for a longer than necessary long haul! ?
On a new subject, I saw on another thread where Zach at Granger say Ford is not scheduling any additional F-150's in an effort to clear out the current backlog. In other words - us. Hopefully that's kind of good news for all of us and the previous weeks on delay. Bad news for folks with new orders, but it is what it is.
Take care!
From what I understand it is the primary method for transport — typically how it leaves the factory, but seems to be a bit random. The two options are convoy (truck) and rail (train). Neither seems to get the vehicle delivered much quicker than the other. What does Convoy Transport mean? That’s on my window sticker…
