And all it is is a pigtail adapter that extends the wiring column a few inches and that's what's on backorder for a lot of people. Took about 3 weeks to get mine.

Granger is telling me they'll need to order the parts and they'll try to get the truck ready. But if 30 days pass once the truck has hit their lot, even though it can't be delivered, I'll lose price protection? It was delivered to them on 8/8, they only got round to doing the inspection yesterday, so basically they have 3 weeks to complete the truck AND for me to buy it or I lose price protection. How the hell is this acceptable when I have a signed contract and I haven't been offered the opportunity to even buy the damn truck before the pricing is canceled?

Were you told something similar by your dealer? At 3 weeks to get the part, you'd have been right up against that deadline too.

None of this price protection stuff applies to me. I signed the contract on January 29th of this year and paid cash for the whole thing up front. The PDI didn't turn up anything missing. The 37 days I was without the truck starting in late February was actually for the heat exchanger issue, when they recommended I don't drive it without signing a waiver. The two recalls (trailer braking software and steering column wiring) were more recent and didn't require any downtime except for a few hours on two separate occasions. They ordered the pigtail while fixing the braking recall and i just brought it back 3 weeks later when the part came in.

So, it's sounding like this massive delay on your truck had to do with missing parts? Then you made some waves and someone up the chain finally said get it delivered to the dealer only for Granger to say you'll lose price protection if they can't get the parts in 3 weeks?

Really curious as to what other parts are missing. No windshield wiper motors? Is that a standard part for 2022 F-150's or is there a difference between a Lariat vs a Platinum?

This whole experience for you sure has been the gift that keeps on giving. ?

For all my frustrations with Ford, if I buy another Ford vehicle it will probably be because of and through Granger.

Mine has been at the dealer for 3 weeks. Now waiting on parts to complete a recall. Unbelievable.

If you look carefully you’ll see the wipers were missing lol

I’ve bought the truck. Now I’m arranging shipping, so I don’t actually have possession yet.
