Hey guys, new to this club. I ordered a white 402a Tremor on 11/23/21. Originally scheduled to be built on 12/22/21. But ended up being built 1/5/22. Some info:
DRB plant
Built on 1/5
Shipped 1/14 to Granger in Iowa
Original ETA1/22-1/28, then 1/31, then 2/1, then 2/4 and now 2/6.
Glad to have found this group. Hoping the truck shows up this week. But after hearing that Chip received 30 trucks yesterday and mine has now been bumped to 2/6, might be next week

Watched alot of trucks from DRB plant to Granger since Oct, quickest I saw was 3 weeks, most are 4 weeks, some longer. Lucky mine took 3.5 weeks total. Railroad had it in KC in less than a week, then waited awhile on a truck transport.

You got it! I had the dealer tint the front windows to match the rear, do the spray-in bedliner and install the automatic tonneau bed cover. It's my last vehicle, so what the heck? I'm going for it.We will need lots of pictures so we can live vicariously through you while we wait for ours (I'm in another build week so I'm trolling this one).

Well, I was originally build week 1/17 but got punted to 1/24. It still shows in production with an Estimated Delivery Date of 2/13 to Granger. I have no idea if it's on a chip hold. I just want to take delivery prior to 4/4 since I have a PCO.

Closing the loop on this. The guy in the parts dept. at my dealer told me today that Ford service no longer will install block heaters after-the-fact because a couple of times it's lead to cracked engine blocks during use and it's not worth their risk to install them. Yikes! I asked if he could order the genuine Ford cable for me just to have in case I ever change my mind, so we'll see. There's third-party options too. They tell me unless you are planning on living in extreme cold with the truck outside all the time and/or you have a diesel, it's not at all necessary, so I'm inclined to pass on it. And for what it's worth, when I fire up the truck with the hybrid engine, it powers on with electricity first, not gas, so there's that. I'll just remote start it for 5 min and be good to go.
