  1. 2021 Shocks Install Labor Hours?

6 hr quote is on the high side for sure. It shouldn't take anyone longer than 2 hours to remove and replace the fronts, add 1 additional hour for them to swap over the springs on to the new struts. The rear shocks taking your sweet time would definitely not take any longer than 1 hr. 4 hrs...
  2. 2024 F150 XLT 3.5 Pulsing at low speeds

I also have a 24 and the truck just turned 3k miles. I was driving it on Sunday and noticed the exact same thing you are describing above, this was the first time I noticed it. I'm not sure I would call it pulsing but to quote your post this sums it up perfectly "Truck feels like I’m losing...
  3. Valvoline Restore and Protect...going to give it a shot

The data on this oil looks promising, tons of good info out there on it. I switched to it at 500 miles and plan to stick with it. My OCI is 5k miles or every 12 months. Currently have 2500 miles on current change and no I'll effects. Oil is still very clean and truck has not used any.
  4. Oil catch can / Lithium Battery

To catch can or not to catch can is a highly subjective subject amongst automotive forums. Catch cans serve 2 purposes, the first is to collect the vapors and liquid before entering the intake tract. Second is to relieve crankcase pressure from the engine, this is more common in high hp...
  5. Oil catch can / Lithium Battery

I will start this off by saying that if both blowers were available today I would go with the Whipple, I did this build years ago so its dated by todays standards. However, I have always been a huge fan of TVS blowers and still love them. I have had 2 TVS 2300s over the years and the last car I...
  6. Oil catch can / Lithium Battery

Ran this set up in my 5.0. Fathouse makes great parts but they are costly. This battery has more CCA compared to the stock battery. This is not designed for a daily driver, made for weekend cruisers/track set ups. While it has more CCA the capacity is less. This dropped 30 pounds off the...
  7. 2021 roush f150 48000 miles blown motor

Can you post up some more details on when the engine blew: - Were you running 93 octane -were you cruising when it let go or was it under load ( wide open throttle, climbing a hill?) - Any engine lights or previous engine lights There are plenty of shops out there that will build you a motor...
  8. 2021 roush f150 48000 miles blown motor

When you lost oil pressure was the engine still running? When you sent the rod out the side of the block that very well could have set off your oil pressure light. Trying to figure out what happened first the oil light or the rod going out the block? The factory cats on automobiles are not...
  9. 2024 F150 blurry back-up camera

Is the camera only blurry when using it at night? If so I think that's a pretty common issue. I have a 24 and the backup camera is definitely blurry at night, still usable but not clear like it is during the day.
  10. Fordpass points expire?

They do expire but sometimes they will redeposit them for you. I had over 20,000 points expire in October of 23' and then in March of 24' they redeposited all of my lost points. No idea how this happened, I didn't even own a Ford from 21' until May 24' The crazy thing is I sold my previous...
  11. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Sounds Good Stereo Level 3 sound enhancement package installed. Amazing how much the sound improved without swapping the speakers or adding an amp.
  12. Sound Deadening Material for doors

Significantly quieter. I've only driven it once but you definitely notice it right off the bat. Going down the highway I noticed it the most, definitely did not feel like I was going 75, literally zero road/wind noise coming from the doors now. The doors feel solid all around, give off a nice...
  13. Sound Deadening Material for doors

When I first picked up my truck the first thing I noticed was the speakers were terrible sounding. I swapped in some Powerbass speakers in all 4 doors and while it improved the highs the bass was absolutely terrible. I read on here the SGS Block off plates made a huge difference in bass so I...
  14. 5.0L Badges added to Lariat Black Pack

Well done sir, perfect design and they came out great. Did something happen to the E and the 5? It could be the pic but it looks like they were cut off.
  15. Bluecruise without Subscription

On my 24 I noticed the same thing last week. However, a couple days later the subscription expired again, I received an email stating my subscription expired even though I never renewed it to begin with. For what it's worth I purchased my truck in May.... I think the blue Cruise expired...
  16. First Attempt at Towing

Gonna need you to post some more info on the 5.0 there bud ?. Beautiful looking car
  17. Under $1k audio upgrade for non B&O system begins.

This is great news, most of the success stories on this amp revolve around using it in bi amp mode. It's great to hear that it works well when used to power all speakers too. Did you go into forscan to disable your EQ or did you zeroize everything on the radio? I'm going to be sending you quite...
  18. Under $1k audio upgrade for non B&O system begins.

Been following this thread and decided to order a set of the SGS block off plates after learning about them from this thread. Just so happens SGS was doing a giveaway for their L3 sound deadening kit. I some how won it and I'm pretty excited. I simply wanted to try out the plates on my front...
  19. Livernois vs Stock Exhaust

I think its an improvement over stock but there is only a very minor difference between the two. In my experience after a few drive/heat cycles the new muffler will break in and get a little louder. Did this replace your stock resonator? If not you can always do a resonator delete for more sound.
  20. OEM upgrade w/ on non B&O under $1k?

I am all about the OEM+ approach! Looking forward to your install, keep us posted.
