I know.. it gets confusing. But all the heated wheel are for power column.. all you have to do it take the switch off.

THe auto wipers are the same.. all those have a different stalk. that has a extra graphic on it. It doesnt work though unless it is programmed and the rain sensor is there.

The 21 was the only one you had to be careful with because they had an active steering SCCM that wouldnt work in trucks with out but trucks dont have that anymore.

I can confirm that this part number given SL3Z-3F791-BA also works for me too. Ran the TRON and it went successfully less than 5 mins. Was able to do forscan to load the factory as built and used superfordman's sheet. Then I got a working heated steering wheel in......summer time.

hello! Did you have to get it authenticated through the dealership or was it ready to go? What about the clockspring? I’m desperate for a heated steering wheel and now I’m even more determined as my dealership says it’s impossible. Thanks so much

Dealer only FDRS. NEVER will be available any other way

Let me make an edit. I never say never. I should clarify and say its unlikely.. BUT there is always a chance. THe issue is the agreement takes place on Fords end. It resets the keys and sets the keys in the modules that hold them.

THe Encryption is the big reason that the PCMs cant be tuned at the moment for a super charger or other performance.

One truck that does have a whipple on it the Cluster displays Certified Calibration to let the dealer know that it is indeed a Ford authorized tune.

We would have to really dig into the TRON process and do some things to be able to copy it but since it reaches out to Ford servers.. its going to be hard to duplicate.

SL3Z-3F791-BA is the right part. I was able to install one into my '24 XL this weekend. I copied over the forscan values from my original SCCM, then ran a PMI in FDRS and then I ran the the TRON network repair. Interestingly, the PMI and TRON process both failed, but the SCCM seems to work OK with no DTC's.

amazon has the power connector for the heated wheel part. See Posts 53 & 57 I emailed a dealer using this wording, $250 in Mn;
Wondering if the tec could use FDRS Diagnostic's to run the TRON to
authenticate the new SCCM I installed (heated steering wheel).
I think they only use the term SCCM no more clock spring.

if I have a cooled seats button I will be tempted to figure out how to add them.

Sadly no. I know ford made them for few models but not for F150 and super duty. I belive that I saw somewhere that someone tried to put the bronco hvac module into the F150 and their F150 hate it that it throws all different sort of DTCs.

If you are going to install hvac module with heated and cooled seat buttons, it is not going to work beacuse you do need the DSM (Driver Seat Module) to send signals to cool or heat the seats.
