I have a favor to ask... photos of your muffler

Would one of you be willing to take a few pictures of your muffler from just in front of the rear tire and where it goes over the rear axle? I'm trying to figure out what part is factory and what part was hacked apart.

I'm looking specifically at the 3.5 PB with dual exhaust.

I purchased a lightly used truck and the previous owner straight piped it.

any halfway decent muffler shop can get you back up and going pretty easily

I have to buy one from Ford. I can't find one used.

At this point just get a borla. They have different loudness options and non of them drone. The quietest one is not loud at all.

Their systems cut right in front of the resonator, maybe that’s what the previous owner had before selling it. So might be easy to bolt on.

For what it’s worth I’ve never heard of a cat back effecting warranty.

I can’t tell with the pics

If it’s there the livernois cat back keeps the oem resonator and maybe half the price of the borla but also a quality quieter unit with no drone.

I have the Livernois cat back on my 2022 3.5 EB, it’s definitely not obnoxious, too me, and no drone while highway cruising. FWIW

any decent muffler shop can put a muffler on your truck. I sure as hell wouldn’t buy a muffler from Ford. A muffler shop gun cut out that intermediate pipe and put on a single inlet, dual outlet muffler in the factory location.
