Same thing happened to me. My fob on my ‘21 would occasionally not do anything (lock/unlock, start the truck, etc). I changed the fob battery and it didn’t help. I think the fob is just faulty. Luckily I had a spare, and just started using that one. Haven’t had any issues since I switched.
Traffic updates aren’t just for knowing there will be traffic, it’s for providing alternate routes. I travel for work in my truck and I’m often going to places I’ve never been before. If I need to be somewhere at a certain time, it can be helpful to provide an alternate route around traffic that...
I had the same thing happen for a while. The album art wouldn’t load, but if I skipped to the next song, then went back to the previous song, it would show. I think it was a Spotify, not sync, issue. Check your phone when you’re playing Spotify when it’s not connected to sync. Does the album art...
That’s pretty much it. Paying for the integrated nav package gives you updated maps and live alerts for traffic and such. Without paying, your navigation will still work, but you won’t get those updates.
I paid last time mine was up for renewal but I wouldn’t likely do it again. Sync nav is...
That’s interesting. I have my setup just like yours (Apple maps on the main screen, audio on the right) and on start up, that’s how it remains set. That’s weird that it’s different for some vs others. I have a ‘21 btw.
You are 100% correct. The Ford logo (or any brand logo) is only supposed to be on OEM parts, and these companies usually change names constantly or shut down and open back up as a “different company” to avoid litigation.
Some on the forum have said their trucks are throwing codes when they removed the active dam, but mine never did on my ‘21. I leveled, put bigger tires, and a tremor plate on around the same time, so I did lose some mpg, but I'm not sure if that was from the active dam or the other mods.
Very well said. Everything has definitely been done. Sometimes I see a truck with certain mods and think “not for me”, but it just never crossed my mind to post/ask “why would you do that, that’s not how Ford wants it to be?”
Read some of these replies lol. Even the original post. I guess I don’t understand having such strong feelings towards what others choose to do with their trucks.
The one thing I never understood is why guys who don’t level their trucks have so much hatred for leveled trucks? While guys who level their trucks seem indifferent to those who don’t. What makes guys who don’t like leveled trucks so angry?
Interestingly I never got any error codes when I removed my active air dam on my ‘21. Guess I got lucky?
Also, if anyone is installing the performance skid plate on a job 1 frame, check out this website. You can get the extended brackets that will attach to the frame without having to drill any...
