Regarding the chip hold. Does anything think the trucks will just start shipping and showing up with no updates on the trackers or will the chip hold end and then we go back to watching the trackers for them to progress to built, shipped, delivered? I really don't mind waiting another month or two if that's what happens but the not knowing is killing me.

Mine was built 8/3 but was on like a 2 week hold and updated to shipped when it shipped. Now I'm checking constantly for updates to the shipping status since it's been shipped since the 23rd and still has only been scanned in Chicago lol

That's the way I feel. I just want a real estimate. If it's Nov 15 just tell me that. Don't push my delivery 2 weeks at a time.

Exactly! Just like my build date. I now know that I am waiting on my 10th different build date due to the KCAP shutdown.

Mine was supposed to be delivered on the 6th, but is on a chip hold. My dealer confirmed it was built but is on a chip hold. He said they received an email that Ford's goal is to push out all trucks on Chip Hold this month. Anyone else hear that?

The new 0% for 72 months is good until 10/4 in my market. It better be here before that!!!

Did it come by rail or convoy and was it early or late? Did the Ford tracker ever update?
Also congrats…happy to see someone getting new rides.

Came by Convoy to Detroit area. Sat in KS for 3 weeks before it was delivered. Tacked it through palsapp. Ford tracker worked untill it left the plant and sat in jack cooper's lot. Then just said in transit.

Seems I've embraced and grown accustomed to the production wait insanity. I put in a 2nd order today for a new build. If a blend date appears before my 1st order arrives, I'll go with the 2nd build. Plus, it locks in the 0%/72mo. Who knows if it'll even be scheduled this production year. Haha

All this time had me rethinking options, adding, and dropping some items to speed the build along. Should be a fun experiment.

FYI - My sales rep wrote me back today, pretty frustrated with Ford. They'd been telling him for weeks that the truck was '100% built, just waiting for transport' but today they told him the truck is on hold. He said he's beyond frustrated with the inconsistent communication from them. He was told Ford is 'trying to project optimism' and that it's turning around and biting them a bit. So there's some more info, for whatever it is worth.

Called the dealer and they don’t know where it is. Called Ford 1-800 and they don’t have any more info.
