8/2 Build Week

Did it come by rail or convoy and was it early or late? Did the Ford tracker ever update?

So it went on rail from Dearborn to Chicago then convoy from there. Estimated ETA was 9/21. Was actually delivered 9/4 over night.

How do you know it was in chip hold

Your dealer should have access to the Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR) which shows more detail than the public trackers. Last week, the VVR for many in this thread changed, having a note saying "Microchip hold at plant" (or something along those lines)

Amazing is right. Here is what the GM just emailed me "You can only lock in the rebates based off the month you ordered and the month it arrives. Thank you!"

So I can't lock in the 0% for 72 months because it has not arrived even though it's supposed to be here on 9/14 (chip hold likely going to push that).

Sadly, I think the GM you spoke with is blowing smoke. My dealership made it clear I could choose whichever incentives were better - at the time of order or at the time of arrival. Clearly the 0% was a better deal and the sales director was kind enough to make the switch in their system from my original custom order to a dealer stock truck that is coming in within the next week or two.

Regarding the 0% for 72mo. My dealership (Germain Ford Beavercreek) said today the 0% is extended through October. So, there is some breathing room. Anyone else confirm with their dealer today?

Chip hold confirmed.

cell in row G says "Micro Chip at Plant on Hold" not sure what that means

For those of you who your est delivery date has come and gone how far did your new delivery date get pushed out? My original dates of 9/15-9/21 are not going to be met so I'm curious what my new dates will be.

Yep, as Dresdie say, my salesman pulled up my original order on the VVR. Confirmed that it was on "chip hold." He or she is going to be the only way to confirm this information for you unless Ford Performance Chat has VVR access.

My original est delivery date was 8-16. It pushed to 9/2, and now 9/14. Dealership has not confirmed chip hold for me yet, but im sure thats the case. Planning to check with them tomorrow.
