It's almost Christmas 2025 and I still haven't fixed this problem on my 2021. Please post a quick picture of your phone charger mount. Extra points if the wires are hidden.

The OCD plug has two options. Ive been eye balling this one:

I jam my phone in that cavity when driving anyway, so why not have it charge my phone. The issue I have is that Ill have to move away from my current phone case, so I may wait for it to bite the dust before making the transition.

I still love the one that I got from Chris (@Hawsa) on this site a few years ago... I am not sure if he is still selling them or not.

It makes use of the silly spot for retracting the gearshift.

Here’s what I’ve been using and really like the location of the mount. It’s made by proclip. I routed the wire down behind the trim into the storage bin’s usb c plug

That's nice. I bet that means you get faster charging. I just ran mine down to the USB in the cubby

Ten dollars on Amazon for two of em best MagSafe MagSafe mountd ever. I prefer the ones that mount on the vents because I go on long trips and my phone overheats. With the ac blowing it never overheats.
