Thanks so much for this, I'm looking into it ASAP. cheersHow about a moleskin or alcantara-type kit that can be used to line the door pocket, which would help to cut down on certain types of rattles? Our German cars come with this and it's nice.
Thank you so much for this input !!!I have a umbrella that stays in the door but it doesn't rattle so I leave it there.
Thanks so much for your input...Do you mind if I ask you what kind/size of flashlight?only had it a couple of months so nothing lives there. Sometimes an extra water bottle. Flashlight got moved due to rattling.
This is exactly what I'm trying to achieve, thanks so much for your input. cheersIt'd be nice to have a thin-ish insert that lines the pocket so we can just put things in it and not rattle. I wouldn't want an insert made for certain items since I put different things in my pockets depending on what I'm going out to do. Don't really have any permanent items that stays in them
Perfect thank you so muchExcess napkins from McDonalds and a couple of straws for those times you are not given any at the drive thru.
Haha pretty sure it's a hair tool for Dyson or something, but honestly it's a perfect example of how random crap (often that we don't need), can collect in our trucks LOL thanks for this
Two 16.9 oz water bottles. The kind available in the grocery store in 24 packs. When they are empty, I replace them as soon as I pull in the garage except we when we are expecting below freezing.tempsI’m trying to build a real-world “always-in-the-door” list for 14th-gen F-150s. Not what you tossed in there today, but the stuff that lives in your lower door pocket 90% of the time. It’ll help me (and everyone here) figure out what actually fits, what rattles, and which bottle bases work.
If you’ve got a minute, drop a reply, (copy/paste is also fine!)
Which, if any, of the below items do you permanently keep in your driver's door?
-Pens/pencils/Sharpies...
-dip can/Zyn can...
-sunglasses, (in case or not)...
-business cards (how many)...
-multi-tool/leatherman....
-other folding knife...
-pistol (what make/model and does it have a light/sight)....
-tape measure (how many ft)....
-hand sanitizer (pump bottle or not)....
-water bottle/Yeti (make/size).....
-any other items not listed....
I’ll compile everyone’s answers and post it back in this thread in case anyone wants to borrow some ideas from the list.
Vendor note for transparency: I make a door organizer for these trucks, but this thread is purely data-gathering for fit/use. Thanks for sharing what works in your truck, and hopefully you can get value from this thread.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to provide this list. Hugely hugely helpful. Does this look about right?25' tape measure, 4" folding knife, tire gauge, smallish flashlight, small key chain with can/bottle opener, a few zip ties, a glucagon kit, sometimes extra ear protection and a handful of paper napkins.
I have a column shift, so I have a lot of space in the open portion of the center console to use. I don't think I would like the fold down version on higher end models.
Believe it or not I don't get rattles.
I like the Bear/Pepper spray idea. I may go add it.
