This is standard process per recall. I didn't like it either but have to play their game. Mine were done in May.I saw the notification on Ford Pass app, but when I called my dealership, they wanted me to drop truck off, get inspection then get approval to order the parts for the repair on my 2023. In my opinion, it's a recall and they need to have the parts available to do this repair.
My 21 has been in the shop for 2 weeks with axle shafts out and needing to be replaced with new shafts now. 2 weeks and dealers can’t get the parts, on back order!!!! Only Ford would screw up a wet dream.
I don't know, but I would take it back. That's not right.Posted earlier I had my 2025 axle recall done on Saturday. I noticed today at 75-80 a vibration. Could that be the new axles or any other ideas?

Thank's. This is helpful. Hoping they have the parts when I take mine in end of this month. Good to see this includes rear axle fluid.Had my visual inspection completed this morning regarding the axles (all was well), plus the brake booster software updated. Service Rep said they will need to order the axles but they are trickling in so hopefully I will not have to wait till October for the parts. Here's what was on my service ticket regarding the axles..
Inspect vehicles warranty history, both RH and LH axle shaft
assemblies are not updated
with the latest part numbers.
Replace both rear axle and hub assemblies, install rear tires. Includes axle fluid check and
top off.

WOW, that sounds shady AF! They never told you 'we'll be calling you at a later date to complete'?Had my service appointment today. Valet picked up the truck in the morning and returned it in the afternoon with the service invoice showing that that axles had been replaced. I popped off the center cap to confirm. Nope! Same bolt.
I immediately called the Service Advisor. He apologized that nobody explained to me that they simply did the inspection and ordered the parts. He said 7-10 days.
Here’s an idea….don’t state on a service invoice that you performed a service that you didn’t!
FORD: You can't have a keypad on your 25, we're happy to offer axles we know are defective though, nice!!Well at least they didn't pick up your truck, remove the axles, and then inform you the truck will be returned when the unavailable replacement parts eventually arrive and are installed.
3.5 years with these suspect axles.
I'll be more than happy to go another year waiting for the recall procedure to reach a less ridiculous frequency of yahooness.![]()
I agreeIn all fairness, even though the redesigned axle is an obviously superior method/approach to keeping the axle located properly, there are many thousands upon thousands of the "faulty" axles that have yet to shear the bolt.
I personally don't think it warrants any meaningful angst or panic.
