Then, why did you make that comment?

My sharp wit?? By not taking myself too serious??? But the biggest one by far I learned a long time ago is that arguing on the Internet is like competing in the special Olympics.. (even if you win you're still mentally challenged)

As a professional plastic cover peeler, I couldn't wait to remove that film. The satisfaction can't be withheld.
Agreed, I bought my truck just so I could peel the sticker off. So satisfying. This is why I watch unbox therapy on YouTube.! It makes me want to trade mine in.

If you fly me to your location I will do it for you.

This is both embarrassing and funny at the same time.

I don't think anybody thinks you're crazy people were just rolling with it.

I was just cracking a joke and definitely didn't mean anything by.

No Sirius hardware builtin, but Def has Bluetooth.
Sirius can be installed as an app on the phone, same subscription model etc.

But why not use iHeartradio instead? Works pretty much just as good, and not as much ads as Pandora. Pretty much the same ads as Sirius, but it's free. Functionality much the same.

If you install a basic music player app, then it can be launched from the XL screen. Just using android file manager to start a song saved on the phone doesn't allow this.

And if course android auto works good over Bluetooth, no builtin navigation anymore.

At first I only had radio on mine, nothing worked at all. So I installed the following on the phone:

Musicolet
iHeartradio
Ford pass (for remote starts)
Pandora
Sirius XM
Scanner radio (for 911 action reports)
Podcast player
Waze
Android auto

I'm sure there's others just as good or better apps out there, but this got me started with plenty to connect to. These all can be launched from the xl's screen. Never need to even look at the phone, stays in pocket.

Ok, but OP lists a 2025 RCSB in his signature and states the Dealer just received it, not been sitting on the lot since last year, so your comment that YOU have Sirius on a 2024 is completely irrelevant. For 2025s, hardware Sirius is no longer included, along with multiple other changes from 2024.

The OP also thought the red sticker meant it isn't installed.

I assure you that if you hook it up to your subscription, it will work. My truck has the same screen.

This is from your 2025 owners manual-

Yes I'm aware that the manual talks about Sirius, the window sticker too stated it has it. But it's nowhere to be found in the menu system on the screen. That's not the only thing it states wrongly though. How about the "11 position adjustable work surface" that only has 3 positions? Or the "voltmeter" that shows decimals, but always jumps from 12.0 to 13.0 and 14.0, but nothing in between and is really completely useless as a voltmeter.
25s also have global windows down by fob enabled by default. Disabling start/stop with forscan does not work on 25s, but I believe it does on 24s. So there is some differences here, while not huge, still differences to consider.

While it may be considered semantics by some, there is a slight downside to not having the Sirius hardware built-in. While it's works perfectly fine installed as an app on the phone, it does depend on the Internet and being within coverage range. Further, one need to have enough data available in a plan to utilize it. Personally I don't think it's as good, but at least it can be had working, if one satisfy the requirements of data and coverage.

But let's just agree, that it isn't included as a piece of hardware, with the antenna and satellite reception it usually was. Now it's internet based, from 2025 on.

Unless someone can show how it works on 2025s, cause this is what I and others have found: there is zero way to enable it in hardware by itself. It's just not there anymore, which I also believe was noted in some Ford write-up somewhere. Nav too is gone. Only android auto now.
