My sunroof has started to vibrate/rattle while closed when driving after 1.5 yrs 20k miles of ownership. Per TSB 20-2093, Ford recommends utilizing Rotunda 164-WS0850102 Krytox Weather Strip Lube. https://a.co/d/8NMPo12 This product has been sold out on Amazon for sometime now. Does anyone know of an alternative to this product? I am looking for the lubricant for the seals, not the grease for the guide rails. Thank you.

I've used Krytox 205 on my 17 with the pano roof and it will quiet it down for a little while but it always comes back. I've replaced the track 3 times on my sunroof and they always end up breaking again.

Its not from the rear glass, the rattle comes from the front part of the sunroof when closed. I'm just looking for an alternative to the white lightning lube for the seal that's out of stock.

Two Ford techs told me you can use that on the seals also, just apply it thin.

I have heard of people on other forums using this stuff too.

There's so many different Krytox products it's difficult to find one for this application. I can't find the one that Ford recommends for the seals in the TSB anywhere in stock.

My only regret with my order is getting that damned pano roof. I rarely use it and it just squeaks and rattles, and someday I am sure it will start leaking.

I use the Krytox GLP 205 for the seals. I believe this is what BMW also recommends for the seals on its sunroofs.

Expensive little tube of lubricant but it goes a long way for the seals.

I use this product and I found it to be excellent on my moon roof and the gasket on my window and door seals on my F150.
