2023 Lariat. Used. The pedals in it are equal in height. Something different from any other vehicle i've ever had (I've had 9). Even my dad has a newer F150 with the non adjustable pedals and his brake pedal is also higher. Maybe its just on the memory adjustable pedals that I believe this may be the cause for terrible leg pain everytime i drive my truck. Really frustrated as i love the truck but i cannot me comfortable in it.. Someone please help me out. I couldn't post the video on here so i posted it on Youtube.

I would appreciate any advice please..

Adjust the pedals. Switch on the side of the steering column.

Not sure what else to do than to see if you can install an aftermarket pedal that replaces or gets installed on top of the stock pedal

They only adjust together. I only need to adjust the brake pedal to come up higher, not both unfortunately

The issue is braking requires me to stretch my foot all the way down, straining my leg muscle
Pick. Up. Your. Heel.

Press down to brake. Quit just trying to slide your foot over.

Pick up my heel for what? the brake isn't higher to where i can pick up my heel, its at the same level as the other pedal, if anything my heel ends up going lower to brake. I'm almost having to point my toe to brake its ridiculous. If i bring the pedals closer to where i can reach the brake better, then the other pedal is now cramping up my leg. The issue is these pedals are at different height than any other car i've owned, including 2 F150's

Move your seat closer?

I don't know what to tell you. I commend you for being so brave during this time of extreme hardship.

Thank you sir i will try to continue to be brave.

All jokes aside i totally get it, its such a minor thing. I work in construction and i can definitely handle some discomfort but driving this truck unfortunately has me legitimately limping. I appreciate the input though man!

I've never seen someone try to use their pedals in that manner. Ever.

I get that and i am not doing it on purpose, it feels weird to me too but lifting my heel does nothing as the brake pedal is not higher like it is in other vehicles, even if i pick up my heel and shift over, i have to press down past my foot being flat, i'm legit pointing my toe like a ballerina to brake lol

Is it possible that the brakes need to be bled?
