Has anyone received the Expedition with buttons from the Etsy guy? or do you know what requirements to test his are for the switch? I assume that it requires cutting off the screw eyelets also?

his is designed to keep the tabs and bolt in from the bottom. Until someone tries it I would be wary, I’m not sure how that will be able to fit. The expedition has a different console top, without the small linear pocket between the shifter and cup holders. It seems his design will be too wide, but maybe it’s tapered, can’t tell from the pictures.

That is great to hear about that 2021 Expo dial. I book marked with that 2021 VIN so I will just buy a new one.

I am waiting to see what the set up from the Etsy guy looks like before I order it. Working as is proper for the dial self moving to P and not throwing any codes is great!

If all looks good for me I just have to get that lighting harness made for the media light and lighted cupholders. Then I will be good to go.

Have had an explorer for about 8 months and still go the wrong way occasionally.

Yeah, 3.5 years on this 2021 PB and turn it the wrong way every time.

And now I know why I struggle. The '21 F150 and '25 Explorer drive mode selector dials turn in opposite directions. ?‍

ok, I'll clarify. On the explorer, both the gear and drive selectors both go in the natural direction of the dial turns as if it is pointing to what is wanting to be selected like the mode on a washing machine. However, on the F150, the drive selector goes in the opposite and unnatural direction as if you're spinning the modes. So for those who do this upgrade, be prepared for the new rotary gear selector and existing drive selector to behave differently.

In haven't touched the drive mode selector in almost 3 years. Guess that’s why I never notice.
