Broken vent knob.

Knob came off the vent a week after we got it. Then the holidays showed up and lost track of time. 22 xlt 302a. We have extended warranty but it's a certified used and only has 30k miles. I looked at videos on removing the bezel and that seems quite the undertaking. Would this be covered under any of my warranties or is this "wear n rear"

Yes…..certainly a warranty item.
The dash trim needs to be removed to gain access for the center vent removal. Not extremely hard, but certainly a major pain

Same thing happened to mine and covered under warranty, take it to the dealer because it is a teidious fix. Took almost 2 hrs to do mine and they have to order the part. It comes all as one piece.
