Could you humor me and when you get a chance look up from the bottom and see if the horizontal trim piece fit flush with no gaps?

I switched the magsafe charger head with my second car so its matched the ambient light color. Same bolts and nuts that came from course motorsport.

Did you disconnect with the battery unplugged? I saw some of the Lightning guys saying if done without disconnecting the battery it threw codes. Then a restart cleared it all.

I swapped mine with the truck off, but never disconnected the battery. Mine is a 23’. No problems and no codes so far. Been running it for about 2 months.

Are the 2024 same as the 2025 as far as the canbus goes? Has anyone tried a 2024 to see if it throws codes?

FWIW, I talked to my son in law about carving this out of aluminum and anodizing it, and the consensus we came up with was that it wouldn't be as cost effective as the 3d printed part. I have another buddy who does metal 3d printing I have yet to talk to, but I feel like it would be the same thing, and he does it for his job, so something big like this would likely run into a similar factor.

why would you want metal anyway? The factory parts are plastic and they are 80% covered by the trim.

I just confirmed with Jesse that the GWM is TRON protected on 2024+ trucks. We have to find a TRON capable shift knob.

Was just seeing what was up, since I have some access to this kind of machinery, but not access to a 3d printer. I mean we have one at work, but I'd never be able to utilize it for this. Maybe some day I'll get one...
